The sun and moon 'appear' to be the same size thats all. Its all a matter of perspective. Here's a simple demonstration. Here I have a small plate, and an upright fan. In this photo, from this distance, the plate looks the same size as the fan. But in reality, it isn't. The Moon at its CLOSEST appears to have the same angular diameter as the Sun. But that doesn't mean they are the same size! This is what the Moon does over the course of one month.... Here is a size comparison for its eliptical orbit, nearest and farthest.... So....the Moon is able to change size, 100% irrefutable. This MUST be a distance from the ground issue on the mad flat earth model. There can be no other explanation! If it changes size so dramatically through its distance above the Earth, why the crap doesn't it change size when it is low on the horizon. Basic, basic trigonometry tells us it must be a MASSIVE distance away when "setting"! Do you even know there is a thing called an Annular Eclipse? When the Moon is at its smallest and farthest.
