MrA
Ok so this is where my own conjecture that gravity is real will trip me up Because the Moon is apparently far too big to get caught in Earths gravitational pull Its also.difficult to explain why it is all ways facing the same way as it orbits Earth So yes theres my honest experience with cognitive dissonence and gravity I still believe in it because of other evidence even when I find out the Moon has disqualified itself from the proof , yet its still there

gregory-peccary
In the 16th and 17th centuries shooting stars (meteorites) were a religious issue. Protestants didn't believe in meteorites. They thought they were just made up stores by farmers and peasants. Catholics did believe in meteorites (and alexa will like this!) because the only place rocks could fall from was the Heavenly City in the sky. And that is the exact same reason why Protestants didn't believe in them! Then one day sometime in the middle of the 17th century (or maybe the18th) two respectable gentleman were out walking and saw a meteorite land with their own eyes. From then on meteorites falling to earth was accepted as true by the establishment. They still fall to the earth, and they are still from 'up there', but from the solar system or the Heavenly City? Another thing is that on some days I can see the waves on the horizon, meaning I can see the crest and troughs on the horizon. My eyesight is pretty good for long distance. Those boats are not descending below the horizon. They're falling off the edge of the flat earth and floating out into space. I thought everyone knew this already. I myself travelled "around" the world on a 600' ship. I guess I must be part of the disinformation campaign spreading lies and such. Or maybe I was so confused I didn't realize I was going around in circles on a giant flat lake. Here's a simple truth that the flat-earthers can't seem to understand. When you climb higher, you can actually see farther. That's not because the world is flat, it's because that's how basic 9th grade Geometry works. At Mecca there used to be 360 stone idols in a circle before they were destroyed one by one Which might mean nothing at first glance but theres also 360 degrees in a circle My point is even 1500 years ago ignorance won the day and knowledge went to shit as a result Edited May 29, 2020 by MrA

bflat
@Avoiceinthecrowdand @alexa Thanks so much for keeping truth alive. Both of you deserve much credit... especially for your patience. I know it can be frustrating answering the same questions again and again... especially when you are forced into discussing pro wrestling like it is real. @All y'all who have been reading along, but not posting (there are many of you). Are any of you the least bit concerned that this thread is now 12 pages long, has been read thousands of times, and not once has anyone even attempted to dispute even one of my five points I listed in the OP? In my mind, this alone should have bells going off.

You have been on here having all your questions handled for pages now and still have not come close to responding to the OP. Here are the five simple points: 1) Impossible horizons 2) Natural physics of water 3) Natural gas law 4) Emergency landings prove pilots use a flat earth map and they have never used a globe 5) Not only pilot manuals, but nasa's own technical documents repeatedly reference a stationary flat earth! MrA
why can Polaris not be seen by anybody living in the southern hemisphere ? Apparently the Earth is so flat and level you can see Canada from Mexico if you are in a plane on a clear day ? ( according to the OP ) So why cant people all.over the world see Polaris ( the North star ) Surely on a flat and level plane , everyone on Earth should see Polaris no problem

bflat
@MrA A red herring is something that misleads or distracts from a relevant or important question.... ... the red herring falls into a broad class of relevance fallacies.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_herring All your "concerns" can be easily understood with some very basic research, but again all this is simply distracting you from the five simple points. Hit my points first and then anything you can't google for yourself I will help you with.
