It's clear that many are motivated to attack anything they think challenges the bible.

Yes, Satan's doing this all the time..........

The “Nature of Reality” forum was recently hosting a thread where heated discussion was taking place regarding our plane, “a flat, nonrotating Earth” as nasa themselves reference multiple times in mul

I dont think that flat earth is a thing. But either way - why does the shape of the world matter? If its a flat sphere or a globe - there is no difference for us in our daily lifes, is it?

Blind belief is the way of a fool.

John 20-29

Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

The truth doesnt fear being challenged.

Then why are you defending your ball earth ? What are you afraid of ? Is it because that you can't face the thought that you have been lied too all your life ?

I dont trust the gospel of John as its been altered a lot. In fact the whole bible is flawed really. Human creations generally are.

I couldnt care what shape the earth is. Makes no difference. Seems to matter to people who have nothing to do with their lives.

No not religion! Just Jesus and his word! :classic_biggrin:

Some time ago people believed in Mithras and worshipped Zeus lol...and Jesus and his word were warped by organized religion beyond recognition.

Have you guys ever watched thunderbolts project? You should look it up on YT. They say we have an electric universe. David also mentioned them in one of his speeches. It gives you alot more i sight to connect the dots.

as it drags in the symbols and explains their origin from antiquity.

i think it is our questioning of everything that is important , free from fear of ridicule but in the same vein those proclaiming flat earth should keep check upon their own passion

It's still recognizable if you know how validation works.

Just spent and hour putting a scientific rebuttable to bflat's assumptions and when I submitted it I was blocked and lost every thing for security reasons so when everything is up and running properly I will give it another go. Not winging security protocol is necessary given the recent problems

No problem it can wait, I certainly won't loose any sleep over it and bflat can think he is correct for a little while longer.

Actually bflat is an interesting choice for a name ,If you want to check to see if a water melon is ripe, when you tap on it  B flat is what you are listening  for or A sharp ,depending what key your in .

As you can see, unfortunately my head is full of useless information :classic_blink:

How about an expanding Earth:

Hmm! Very Interesting theory, I think this is what might have happened when God spread the people out abroad and confused their language at the time of the tower of Babel & Nimrod.

It's a known fact that many languages were already being spoken when the tower was built.

I know there were about 70 known languages at the time.

The expanding earth theory relies on the same data that is used for standard plate tectonic theory, so the timeline doesn't work with historical Babylon. It does work with the idea from the Quran that the earth was spread out, though.
