The “Nature of Reality” forum was recently hosting a thread where heated discussion was taking place regarding our plane, “a flat, nonrotating Earth” as nasa themselves reference multiple times in mul

I dont think that flat earth is a thing. But either way - why does the shape of the world matter? If its a flat sphere or a globe - there is no difference for us in our daily lifes, is it?

Posted Images

@peter, I'd first like to apologize for not getting this going sooner, but I've been distracted with my new toy. 🙂

Also, I wanted to give each point and especially your responses the respect they deserve. I will try and be brief and clear, but definitely let me know if the point itself is not clear. So, without further ado...

POINT 1 - Every observer on Earth, no matter where they are, when looking straight out will find the horizon directly in the center of their eye. This is stand alone proof that we do not live on a spinning ball (oblate spheroid).

Beginning on page 3 of comedy's thread I began posting several links that explain this. This is when the thread needed to be locked. I will not inundate you with links as I am sure you can search for what you like, but I should point out that Da Vinci gets a lot of the credit for explaining this centuries ago.

Above is what happens in real life and what every person will see if their eyes are at the same height. If one turns one degree, the same axiom holds true. Turn another degree, the same, and so on for all 360 degrees.

Here is a wonderful demonstration of how important the eye level/horizon is for us to understand the world.

 https://artyfactory.com/perspective_drawing/images/eye_level_1.jpg

The above looks great with everyone at the same eye level.

https://artyfactory.com/perspective_drawing/images/eye_level_2.jpgBut here, not so much even though all the characters are the same size as in the picture above. All that has changed is their eye level.

https://artyfactory.com/perspective_drawing/perspective_2.html

To drive this point home we have to remember what we actually see. It sounds easy enough. Let's see. I have taken a couple of screenshots of side by side images of what we should see if we lived on an extended plane verses what we would see if we lived on a globe with a radius of 3,959 miles.

Here is what happens at 1 mile:

https://iili.io/3c498G.jpg

I would like to know if anyone who has hiked has ever looked down to see the horizon as it would be on the left above?

5 miles:

https://iili.io/3c4TwQ.png

And I would love to know from anyone who has flown if they have ever looked down out of their window to see such a horizon?

But is this stand alone proof? Modus tollens confirms.

If P, then Q.
Not Q.
Therefore, not P.

If the Earth were a globe with a radius of 3,959 miles, then one must look down to observe the horizon.

One never has to look down to observe the horizon. Therefore, the Earth is not a globe with a radius of 3,959 miles.

Awaiting your thoughts... hope that wasn't too long.

I know it says that on your script, but isn't there some number of times after you are proven wrong that you stop saying it?

Dude....that is one of the most ridiculous attempts at contradicting reality you can get. You get the last blurred lens flaring of a sunset and present that as the Sun disappearing?

Cos you got a camera?

Spam. All of that was already posted...answered...and ignored.

You were supplied videos, mathematics and links...yet you post the same crap under the guise of some bullshit private exchange you are having.

Explain this video.

Objects get smaller as they move away from an observer. This video is somewhat unique as the atmospheric conditions allowed for this truly incredible view that we rarely get to see over water. I have been able to capture this myself and it's wonderful to see.

And I just got this this morning. It is part of my ongoing perspective series. The jet skis are not visible from the shore and only the very top rail of the bridge can still be seen from shore.

I hope you enjoy.

Objects getting smaller has nothing to do with the thing on this video a flat earth scientist should be looking for. Lets consider the possibility that the round earth hypothesis is correct, what would you expect to see in Australia that will not show up if the earth is flat?

Definitely some jiggery pokery going on with fish eye lenses and space footage. I can notice that with the same 'eye' that I can see the sun setting in the wrong direction in Australian videos. I'm only interested in the truth and I have a mental condition that might best be described in computer logic as:

extern data told;

let it = something(told);

if (it<truth) or (it>truth) then return "Warning! There's something a bit bullshitty about variable 'it' on line 0."

This throws up an exception in the calling method WhatIsTruth(). Ive noticed that when this exception happens my body can find itself surrounded by characters not unlike O'Brien from the 1984 pdf in my memory banks they call a piece of meat called a brain. These O'Brien's believe if they can shout loud enough or threaten enough danger to me or tell me even bigger lies that the exception can be muted and I will just accept "it" to be equal to truth.

I'm not a very good robot.

None the less I believe the evidence, free from empirical fraud, suggests the earth is round. I haven't been to Australia yet but its interesting there are so few Australian videos depicting solar progression.

Well you can count out cars and heavy machinery because most now have gps satellite tracking and all the fe'ers know that satellites don't exist ,therefore the world is a much safer place than you actually thought, apparently we now only have to worry about them running with scissors😉

If I thought for one moment that we live on a spinning ball hurtling through space, I'd be very scared. People running with scissors would be the least of your worries.

Wrong again, but it's ok you must be used to it by now

I'm always on the lookout for people running with scissors

Why does the sun move across the sky in the opposite direction from where I live. I'm not saying all the evidence for a round earth is above board what with theatrical wires on the ISS and photoshopped clouds on the latest NASA satelite imagery but I cant imagine a non-3-dimensional model that explains the suns apparent trajectory in the way mundane and uncontrived seeming video.

Can you explain "the opposite direction?" Where do you live? If you could post your coordinates and the direction you are facing based on both an actual compass and according to google's gps, I might be able to explain.

what about P O Q's

Confused... is point one over? 🙂

And I got a couple new vids for anyone watching along.

Another beautiful sunrise...

And...

Will we ever see planes landing upside down in Australia? Or sideways in Paris? What fascinating video that would be.

It would definitely be a fake video.

Where has planes landing sideways in Paris come from?

And what exactly do you mean by planes landing upside down in Australia?

I'm pretty sure you don't mean this:

wasn't that bullshit brought up about 20-30 pages ago , christ I'm sick of this subject, same shit over and over and over again, and would you stop with your bloody camera, I can see a sunset most evenings and if I want perspective I can look straight down the valley,I just bought a new chain saw but it doesn't mean I have to run around cutting the shit out of everything then tell everyone about it, if you have some different evidence lets have it .

I,m sorry to confuse you with P O Q  ,it means piss off quickly ,or quietly when I was at school

You need my gps co-ordinates and detailed details to explain? Ok. My rough gps co-ordinates are some longitude somewhere and a latitude thats positive such that the sun goes from left to right over the course of the day at which the suns greatest height on that day is lowest for the year. Now given this detailed enough information on the back of the fact you've only caught up on the reverse solar progression apparent in the southern hemisphere. Do you already have a model fitting the facts you havent noticed or do you need more information to construct a fake reality bubble like a set of television networks trying to sell a fake democracy to its slaves?

As I recently wrote on this thread discussing these satellites we are told are in low earth orbit:

https://forum.davidicke.com/index.php?/topic/11404-kessler-syndrome/

...for reference, remember that you are talking about thousands of objects in what we are told are in low earth orbit. This is far closer than the nearly 1/4 million miles away that we are told the moon is from us. Now look below at this picture that I was able to capture of the moon at this incredible distance.

https://iili.io/2V7fMG.jpg

If you click the image you can zoom in and really, truly begin to understand the problem here.

For further reference, consider we are told we can watch the ISS, which is similar in size to larger commercial aircraft, flying about at over 17,000 mph.

https://iili.io/2rF1st.jpg

At the end of the day, not only should we be seeing incredible video of planes landing upside down in Australia, we should be watching live video of planes and cruise ships moving in all kinds of crazy directions all around our flying, spinning sphere.

I hope that made sense.

It will continuously be brought up until a reasonable explanation is offered. Eye level is synonymous with horizon.

https://expertphotography.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/vanishing-point-pier.jpg

The horizon line runs across the canvas at the eye level of the viewer. The horizon line is where the sky appears to meet the ground.

https://www.mos.org/leonardo/activities/perspective

The above link offers a great activity you can try yourself to help you understand this.

https://i.stack.imgur.com/aiY3p.png

O = eye level for every observer on Earth.

I am sorry for you that you are sick of it, but facts are facts and I will not stop with my camera until the mods decide that they do not want original research on this forum. I hope you understand.

Well, I thought we were trying to do this in a friendly way. What you are referencing is the modus tollens proof. I already showed via modus tollens that the Earth is not a spinning spheroid and their has been no refutation to the proof because it does not exist.

Ok friend, have a nice day. You posted this after I had already explained this to you on your other thread. And while you don't understand the significance of the Sun shrinking away in the video you posted, it matters!

No, it's non-science or nonsense.

Human eyes are not the best eyes life on Earth has to offer and they are limited at their ability to resolve the size of things moving fast at a great distance.  Compared to very large high end telescopes binoculars are a poor substitue for looking at the night sky. Following up the Kessler syndrome thread reveals ground radar is used to track milliuons of small debris items orbiting the Earth and optical telescopes used for that purpose are limited to resolving items of about 6 inches in size but only if the scope is watching a patch of sky and the object flies through it's field of vision.

Amateurs have caught ISS on film but it needs preplanning to be in the right spot for the right fleeting amount of time.

The end of this pontoon is about 70-80 metres away from the camera. What curviture do you expect would be visible at that length if it was on a ball with a 25,000 km circumferance? The pontoon is visibly kinked about 20 metres out around 3/4 of the way to the second lamp post, theres a right leaning trough along the surface. Doesn't this prove we are inside a sphere and the sky exists between here and australia? Centrifugal forces would explain gravity if the ball is inside out, but the sun...?

All the reasons listed, but especially how brilliantly I can capture minute details of an object that is supposedly 240,000 miles away while the satellites in low earth orbit as depicted by cartoons in @serpentine's thread and the space shuttle/iss which are only a few hundred miles from the earth's surface cannot do the same.

And here's a little added gravy. i just took this...

https://youtu.be/R4SoWUyZyz0

The above was shot with my camera only about one foot high.

Edit: when a mod approves this post, please see if my video can be embedded. Thanks.

You need to paste the 'full' link, not the 'shortened' one.
