You may hear of people so say contracting 'it'. But what are they actually getting?  Seems to me so long as you get a positive test anything you have becomes covid. Acute bronchitis, pleurisy and pneumonia to name but a few usual respiratory ailments seem to have disappeared. Why do you think that is? May e they've all applied by deed poll to change their names?

It's a valid point, we did have SARS-CoV-1 going around the world in 2003 though. I have no way to determine exactly what they've had. I'm mostly going off their anecdotes, taking into consideration their lifestyles and underlying health issues.

At the same time these are people who I wouldn't normally know to have caught a cold or suffer from respiratory illnesses. Nor in the more serious cases be gasping for air or think they're dying until this particular point in time.

I can't say I'm right or wrong I just lean more towards it being a case of viral respiratory infection based on my own interpretation of events and experiences.

Since people have already been treat around the world using alternative therapies using vitamins and minerals and which in some cases include ivermectin which has specific anti-viral properties; Also considering some of the commonalities between those who seem more likely to suffer from the illness, I think it's wiser to make healthy lifestyle adjustments and use the easily accessible preventative therapies as a precaution. It certainly won't do anyone any harm and should help prevent hospitalisations.

I had acute bronchitis a few years back and I thought I was dying. I couldn't breathe, was gasping for air and took weeks to recover. This was in 2000 long before covid hoax. If it was today I have no doubt I would be placed on a respirator and fast tracked to death.

And let's be fair...with mask wearing I'm not surprised people are getting pneumonia aka covid or bronchitis, chest infections etc etc. I'm guessing the maskless are escaping these eventualities.

Yep.october 2019 I went to Malta to be with some family. I dont like Malta. I wont ho again. Anyway, I got home with a terrible chest infection. I never visit the doctor but this thing was bad so I decided to go. Mu doctor is cool. Hes more naturopathic. He has pretty much eradicated my asthma through natural remedies. Anyway he said my chest was so bad he had no choice but to put me on cortisone and anti biotics. That's really not like him. It cleared it up but it was bad. Dont ever want that again. I'm sure that would have been treated as covid if we had fast forward a few months.

This doctor incidentally is leaving. Hes young and hes adored around the villages here. I'm no fan of doctors but I'm genuinely sad to see him go. I went to see him for something else mid last year. Nothing health wise. A check up for gun licenses. When I arrived he was fed up. He asked if he could take his mask off. I said sure. I asked him his honest opinion and he said right at the start he was on call for the hospital and he saw a few more sick people than usual but that it didnt last long Nd that he had not seen anything unusual for months.

I trust this guy. Hes gone against the grain to help me best asthma instead of just pumping me full of drugs like the uk did for 25 years. He then went out of his way to make sure my son was not vaccinated. Hes a good guy. I'll miss him.

My point of view is that maybe something was passing around early last year, who knows. Maybe a bad flu strain, or maybe some experimental virus. Who knows but clearly in my opinion everything since has been bought on by masks. It's common sense.  Its gross.  Your supposed to exhale not breath back in all the filth.

I actually want to stay away from maskes people. It's a vector for filth.

Well I'm 72 this year and have many health issues.

I suffered a heart attack at 52 and then developed left sided heart failure at 57.

I have chronic kidney disease and peripheral artery disease....5 years ago I had an operation for an aortic aneurism that went horribly wrong due to the absolute ineptitude of my consultant and ended up with sepsis on a dialysis machine fighting for my life in intensive care for ten days.

They had to poison my body with a barrage of antibiotics that ended up with me developing peripheral neuropathy in the feet that  has left my mobility very compromised.

So I think we can safely say that I have underlying health issues.......Since all this covid crap started last March I have never worn a mask and have never shielded or isolated.....I have carried on as normal, seeing my family and friends, I cuddle my grandkids, I have gone shopping at least three or four times a week with the wife touching trolley handles and not once have I used a hand sanitiser....I don't do the social distancing nonsense and will not be tested, let alone jabbed with the genocide liquid.

So perhaps you or Ergo could explain to me why I haven't caught this 'virus'.

Should I not be dead by now?

Exactly, I'm sorry you have been through so much ND yet have the guts to stand up for what you believe...admirable.

I have an auto immune disorder, and have flown inside of seven commercial planes in the last 10 months. Several public shuttle journeys, train and taxis. Not wearing a mask. Not sanitizing...Not avoiding touching door handles etc. Enjoyed Christmas against the 'rules' and like you carrying on regardless. Like you say...where's the virus? Let alone a mutated version.

The Daily Mail reports at the top of the article - police threaten "ultimate action" against flouters. Ultimate action is being shot on the spot or summmary execution by firing squad.

Reading through the article the only place it states "ultimate action" is said by North Yorkshire County Council.

Richard Webb, North Yorkshire County Council's corporate director for health and adult services, said: 'Yesterday we were made aware of a campaign doing the rounds across the north of England which urges businesses to have what they called a ''great reopening'' tomorrow.

'My plea to all businesses is to ignore this campaign. There will be no great reopening on January 30. I would ask that you continue to act as you have been doing throughout this lockdown and before that and that we fight together this deadly virus.

'My warning to those who choose to take part in this campaign is that the enforcement authorities, police, trading standards, environmental health and others will have no choice but to take ultimate action against you.'

its the power of nightmares again, just with a not so deadly virus standing in for al qaeda.

its real just not as deadly to most people as they thought so they had  a propaganda campaign to big it up and scare everybody so they can push their agenda forward.

been a bit too successful so now they're panicking and trying to find a way out before everything collapses.

the vaccines may work ok sometimes but they're rushed, poorly tested and some times shoddily manufactured (see some pfizer batches), but they are a get out for the government who obviously wont fare well if the economy implodes imho.

I'm not saying everyone with some underlying illness will or won't get it. Nor am I saying people without an underlying illness can't get it. I'm just describing the experiences and some of the commonalities between those who I know who have fallen ill. I also stated I know more people who haven't got it than have got it at the moment.

My main advice was to take precautions (use the supplements known to disrupt viral replication and regulate inflammatory responses) and have a healthy lifestyle if you wanted to lol nobody is forcing you to be healthier :D

I should have added that in the three years after the assault on my immune system by the hospital  I had TWO bouts of shingles, TWO bouts of gout and caught chickenpox!

I have since healed it through good diet and daily intake of probiotics such as Kefir milk and the raw honey and garlic I make myself.

I have also taken vitamin D,  Turmeric and CoQ10 capsules daily for the past two years plus my wife makes chicken and beef bone broths twice a week.

I also drink a litre of PURE cherry juice every three days....expensive but it kills the uric acid that causes gout.

I strongly recommend all of them.

The number of people who have told me they have had covid and gone on to say how it was just like the flu.  Feck off ya muppets you've just had the flu.  I know of no-one who has died from "it".

They just repeating like a parrot what the doctor's told them.

Patient: I don't feel well

Doctor: You've got covid

Patient (to the world): I've got covid

Then later when they've got over it..

Patient: I've had covid.

MUPPET. FLU.

There has been no excess mortality in UK or in the USA. The ONS figures cannot lie.  If this virus was real there would be excess mortality. That means covid deaths in ADDITION to those dying from other causes.  Not INSTEAD of.

The whole thing is a scam. I am sick of it.

Saw a good meme the other day.

If this pandemic were real, people wouldn't be arguing over whether it was real or not.

I think since the pitchforks are out we have to infight to the death. I don't think I should let you escape from my reality. You will be healthier or I will pelt you with vitamins and healthy advice until you die of really old age! :D

JK I can agree it's being used as the pre-text to usher in the Global Reset.

I honestly don't see your point, sorry.  Infection coverage will never be 100% within the community.  Just because you have underlying health issues and haven't suffered symptoms, that doesn't mean there isn't a virus or illness that can be contracted.

I appreciate that there is a debate over whether a virus has been isolated.  I am not a medical doctor or virologist, etc.  My approach to this is that I don't need to argue that there is no virus, I can just adopt a working assumption that there is and I only need to point out that the official response to the virus is completely disproportionate.  That's enough.  It's a strong position in its own right.  It also has the advantage that it comes across as realistic.

My training is in the law and I am used to constructing arguments and attacking other people's.  My approach is that you attack at the line of least resistance.  If you go round saying there is no virus, nobody will listen to you.  If, on the other hand, you say there is a virus and an illness but the reaction to it is out of proportion, it comes across as more of a reasonable and grounded position.

I don't really want to start an argument.  I am entitled to my view, you are entitled to yours.  Our conclusions converge on the same point, it's just that we start from different positions.

I guess if there has been an increase of seasonal colds/flu people getting ill..

It could be caused by..

The overuse of hand gel and hand washing lowering your immune system over time.

People become obsessive with cleaning and using heaps of chemicals...lowering their immune system even more.

The mental health factors lowering your immune system and manifesting symptoms.

I also think people are talking about it more if they have such a bug, making it look like there is something bad going on for their own gain. Gains them a hero status lol.

So I think that could be why we are hearing/seeing more than before.

I agree with all of that, but I think you're conflating two different points.  I accept it is inductively logical to conclude that if testing is skewed or unreliable, then there is no discrete virus isolated and falsifiable under sterile conditions using scientific methods.   But logic can sometimes lead you to the wrong answer, and in this case, the logical conclusion does not take account of an important nuance.

It is possible that there is a virus but that the retail testing is unreliable and exaggerates the extent of infection in the community through false positives and by intentional or reckless misdiagnosis of respiratory and flu-like illnesses as Covid-19.

The core reason why I believe it is more likely than not that there is a virus is due to my expectation of how organised official deception works.  It would be far too risky for them to invent a virus.  Why take such a risk when they can just select a real virus and generate hysteria about it?  I am putting myself in their shoes here.  If I was organising this lie machine, this massive deception, then the latter approach makes far more sense.

I think I've made this comment before: the most effective/believable lies contain a large amount of truth.

Think about it this way - If there is a real virus, they have a fall-back position.  They can turn round and say, 'Ah, see, the virus is real, and people really are getting sick'.  They can also easily ridicule anybody who denies the existence of a virus.

Here's a tale which illustrates the horrendous damage this scam is perpetuating. We have a friend who comes from a large extended family. Said friend is divorced an lives alone with her dog. She does not buy into the covid hype. Her aged mother lives with her other daughter who has bought into the scam 100%. Our friend is now banned from seeing her mother until she can prove she's negative for the virus. In fact, nobody is allowed into the mother's home unless they can prove they are covid-free. Our friend will celebrate her birthday here with us instead of with her family. We'll make it nice for her but it isn't the same. She may never be allowed to see her mother again and, as her mother is 84, who knows how long she has left.

Absolutely. The collective psyche has taken a severe beating over the past year. Some will not recover. Those who live in hope that we will one day get back to 'normal' will fare the worst when the realization dawns that we never will.

That's sad to hear. Unfortunately I think that the pushback is not going to start in Britain and it's definitely not going to start where I am on the rainy little island to the left of you. The likes of the Italians, the Greeks, the eastern Europeans all have more fire, more passion. It has always been thus, we're just not that way inclined.

I do think though that pushback is like a virus of a different kind, once it has spread over most of the continent it will happen here. It just isn't going to start here, unfortunately. We have the phrase "Paddy last" for a reason and I suspect the UK isn't much different these days.
