It seems there is a big push on to require 10 days of hotel quarantine at your own expense in addition to a negative PCR test in order to travel anywhere in the EU, making it de facto impossible. We are also seeing a shift on mask policy, with the extremely airtight oxygen-depriving FFP2 masks now mandatory in Germany and being discussed in Spain. It seems to be another step on the way to making masks mandatory everywhere at all times as soon as you leave the house, and a specific type of state-approved mask no less. Seems pretty clear at least to me that they are now trying to break our spirit so we will more readily accept the vaccine and all that comes with it. I can't see any other explanation.
