Coronavirus Mega-Thread.

Message added by Grumpy Owl,

This topic is for all general discussion regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are of course numerous other related topics for discussing specific aspects of this pandemic in more detail. And there are other parts of this forum for more 'off-topic' discussions.

Anti-vaccination coercion doctor launches party to ‘heal’ Israel
https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/politics-and-diplomacy/anti-vaccination-coercion-doctor-launches-party-to-heal-israel-656264

'He stressed that while he has gotten the reputation in some circles for being anti-vaccination, he is not. Rather, he is opposed to methods that coerce or marginalize those individuals that choose not to get jabbed.

As such, he said he is against the Health Ministry’s green passport program that would give privileges to those who have received two doses of the coronavirus vaccine.'

I can't believe the airlines will be able to say you can not travel if they have decline the vax. Surely this is discrimination?

you can fly if you're HIv+ but not if youre covid +?

I think it's maybe just going to be news that you cant fly and cant go to the cinema or sport stadium until they get as many vax'd as possible, then they will find it's unworkable.

Also how can they prove you've had the vax or not when youre at the departure gate and there's a queue behind?

A relation of mine had the jab today. I asked them if they received a cert or anything. They had no "receipt" I asked them "how will you get on the aeroplane then?" shrugged shoulders.

Unless there's an ingrediant in the jab that triggers some sort of scan machine I can't see how they're going to get away with it.

and medical records have always been private. yet suddenly you're in being turned away at the departure gate in front of a massive queue so everyone knows you're either got the lurgee or havnt got a jab. It will be like the walk of shame getting turned away from the nightclub when youre 15.

I'm just hoping its just scare tactics to get as many vacinated as possible.

Its satisfying to finally read a little push back against the narrative in the mainstream press down here in Aotearoa - where everything is fortunately 99% old-normal.

The Ministry of Health has weighed in after a South Island café owner added his own sign to the Covid-19 QR code outside his business, telling customers, scanning in was "optional. (which it is)

The cafe owner said:

“There’s no virus here in the Bay,”

he “doesn’t accept” the coronavirus is real,or the extra ones they are making up”.

“It’s all about getting the vaccine…and what goes into these unproven vaccines?... I’ve got a fair idea,” .......“A micro chip is one little thing I wouldn’t want having....“I'm after the truth not twisted stories,”   Ka pai, congratulations that man!

It will probably be based on self-disclosure.  They will just ask: 'Have you had the [such-and-such] vaccine?'  You can drive a coach-and-horses through it, but they know that most people will comply.  Mostly these claims that you must have the vaccine or you won't be able to [fly/go on holiday/use the motorway/own a dog] are smoke and mirrors and puffed-up hot air to make people want to get the vaccine.

Quite simple, it will generate a QR code on an app similar to the one you use to check in now. That app will eventually contain your health history, bank details and a digital form of your regular passport. So all you'd have to do is scan to show that you are vaxxed.

As usual hes making it all about his so important narcissistic self.

Piece of shite.

I don't as a rule decide what to read or watch based on who the person is.  I agree he's a cunt.  I first came across him about five years ago, at which point he was a fully paid-up mouthy Leftist.  He seems to have changed his tune now.  He's a cunt, but his videos can be interesting.

Not saying luciferase is in the current vaccines just that, that's what they'll probably use once they've presented the quantum dot tattoo solution. Unless it's just a red herring.

Nah, its not a red herring. Our Global Heath Tsar, Kill Gates already requested it years ago.. all planned.

Ahyes.. here we go...

At the peak of global lockdowns in April 2020, daily CO2 emissions decreased by almost 20 per cent relative to the same period in 2019. These insights can inform how COVID-19 recovery investments could be used to drive emissions further downward.

The largest relative decreases in emissions came from reductions in road transport, such as commuting by car, and air travel. Although we are all suffering from the loss of in-person interactions, we have also learned a lot about how to convene meetings, presentations, and collaborations online. While individual mobility will rebound as lockdowns ease, our crash course in remote working and learning means that we may not need to return to pre-COVID-19 travel levels.

Let me offer you all a brief analysis of a very sneaky article that has appeared on Mail Online...

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-9171483/Herd-immunity-not-achievable-UK-vaccinated.html

Like most British newspaper articles nowadays, the above article is not saying what it appears to be saying.  British journalists seem to lack the clarity and precision of written expression found in Germany, another country I have experience of.  A German journalist more or less says what he wants to say.  A British journalist is typically all over the place, especially if he has an agenda to conceal.

The crucial passages that we need to pull out are as follows:

Quote

The researchers worked on the assumption the Oxford vaccine is 70.4 per cent effective against Covid infection, as this is the headline figure on the study data received by the MHRA which led to its approval last month.

However, this figure is based on the protection from severe disease, which leads to death. But when accounting for asymptomatic infections, it is only 52.5 per cent effective, Professor Grant said.

'This means that its overall protection against infection is only partial — around 50 per cent.

'This combination of relatively low headline efficacy and limited effect on asymptomatic infections means that the Oxford vaccine can't take us to herd immunity, even if the whole population is immunised.

'Vaccinating 82 per cent of the population with the Pfizer vaccine would control the spread of the virus — but it isn't licenced for use on under 16s, who make up 19 per cent of the population.

'Also, some people will refuse the vaccine, so achieving an 82 per cent vaccination rate will likely be impossible.'

In very simplified terms, what they are actually saying here is that the vaccines can't work in establishing mass immunity unless vaccination is compulsory.  it doesn't say that explicitly in so many words, but that is what it means.

Now let's turn to the next passage:

Quote

The researchers included the Kent strain, which now accounts for at least 61 per cent of all UK infections, in their analysis, but did not have enough data to look at the impact of the South Africa variant.

'The British variant does not seem to be an escape mutant as it is lacking the E484K gene,' Professor Hunter said.  The E484K gene mutation is believed to make the virus adept at avoiding antibodies which have been made by the human immune system following prior infection.

As a result, it is to blame for numerous reinfection events and scientists are growing increasingly concerned it may be able to evade current vaccines

'The problem with the English strain is it spreading more quickly,' Professor Hunter added.

'The South Africa strain is a different matter and has both the increased infection mutant and a degree of escape mutant. This does not necessarily mean the vaccine is useless but is probably slightly less effective.'

In a mealy-mouthed way that most people won't notice, they are conceding here that the vaccines won't work because there will be new strains to be announced that may overcome the immune response of vaccinated individuals.  (I'm no doctor or scientist, but it occurs to me that anybody vaccinated could be at a much greater risk in this situation).

Putting all this together, it's obvious they are laying the groundwork for a universal vaccination programme on some basis.  For various reasons, I do not believe compulsory vaccination will be practicable and I assume they know this, so what they are going to do is ramp up the propaganda to hook in maybe 90% of the population and also make it so that vaccination becomes an annual event, maybe for everybody.  But it won't be strictly compulsory, or it will be compulsory on paper but as with masks, they will allow various get-outs so that they don't have the hassle of enforcing it to the nth.

yes  If double masking didn't make you feel 'safe' enough, how about just no chatting at all. Infact, don't even look at another human being because you will catch Covid and die. Matching eye patches can now be found on Amazon. Accessorise! Convenient peep hole zips for when you need to make your way around your house your locked in.
