Just had a guy cleaning my gutters and i asked him if the believes in lockdown and he said he is not a conspiracy theorist. haha such a programmed response. He said he knows a few people that have had the virus.

 

This one guy at work says he got it and so did his whole family. His wife picked it up from a neighbour on a walk. Anyone else know anyone that is claiming to have had it?

It is. Almost no words to that other than it’s representative of their  Covid-19 religion with words like Hallelujah and being apart of something greater thrown in. A new religion where being oppressed is about being apart of something greater.  I never considered this could be making some (ordinary) people happy but listening to his lyrics I think it is.

That's what I've been saying. The adverse reactions are causing extra pressure on the NHS which is then being blamed on covid and used to scare people into accepting more and more intrusions on their civil liberties.

Yes. A few people where I work.

 

The lady who does the cleaning (and hence goes round all the departments' offices , factories, toilets & kitchens) was off with it. It was like flu, she reckoned - which is exactly what I've believed for a long time that it actually is.

 

She has always been prone to colds and sinus issues as long as I've known her.

 

Then a Production Director, Mark, was whining of feeling ill a while back, lots of people told him to get tested for Covid, and for a week, he kept dragging himself in while looking poorly, saying pitifully that it was 'just man flue'.

 

Then he finally got tested and it was positive so went off for a bit. 

 

In the meantime, another department head, Ian, who had sat next to Mark in various meetings went off sick with it at the same time. (Both around my age of 57 if that has any relevance). 

 

Mark still complains, weeks later, of feeling worn out ever since he had it.

 

Ian said he wasn't too bad, but his wife caught it and was very ill. She also was diagnosed with pneumonia.

 

There has been a trickle of people going off who I don't know well that work in the factories.

 

At present there is one person from the office above mine who is off with it. It's a few weeks since he was last off self-isolating because his wife had it. The chap who sits next to him went for a test the day after his departure because he reckoned he had symptoms, but it came back negative.

 

There are 2 people I know of from one of the other offices (just a couple of hundred feet away from mine) who are off with it.

 

Another of our directors was off a couple of months back because his wife and little girl tested positive. But his wife's only symptom was that food didn't taste right (like when you have a bad cold) and his daughter had no symptoms at all.

 

The personnel woman has started insisting that anyone going absent with it needs to scan their test result in, suggesting the suspicion of folk swinging the lead and just using Covid as an excuse, which wouldn't surprise me.

I was just reading your work siituation post in this thread.

See from what I can see in my workplace is that the tests are bollocks, first guy who tested positive had a history of chest issues pre COVID, he said he just had a bad chest but nothing that he hasnt suffered with previously. He is also overweight.

As he was tested + everyone who sits in his vicinity had to get tested, all of which came back negative, he also got his family tested who live in the same household, all negative, he was bemused by it, it just solidified what I thought was going on.

Also upstairs in Sales one guy was tested + everyone else who sat near him had to get a negative test to be able to come back to work, they all tested negative, so explain that, fucking dangerous virus that we need to wear masks for doesnt even spread how they thought?

My sister is currently living with her boyfriend who shares a house with his brother.

 

A couple of months ago, the brother was 'tested positive' at work (I'm not sure what he does for a living) and told to 'self-isolate' at home despite having no symptoms. As a result both my sister and her boyfriend also had to isolate - neither of whom had any symptoms either -  and both sent off for tests, which came back negative.

 

So all three were stuck at home for ten days or so, despite not being sick or having anything wrong with them.

 

Sadly this wasn't a 'lightbulb' moment for them and they still believe all this is real.

Well I saw a Twitter from Elon Musk in November saying something Is fucky after he'd had 4x tests, one immediately after the other, and 2 of them  were positive and 2 negative.

 

I don't have a Twitter account, but saw it posted - can't recall if it was here or elsewhere. Nor would I trust Musk as far as I could shot-put the little weirdo. But never the less, it was interesting.
