England’s new lockdown will continue until March and some restrictions will stay in place even longer, Michael Gove says.

Just hours after Boris Johnson promised a mid-February review point, his key ally warned the public to expect the curbs to remain for longer.

“Nobody can predict with accuracy exactly what we will be able to relax and when,” Mr Gove said.

And he added: “I think it's right to say that, as we enter March, we should be able to lift some of these restrictions but not necessarily all.

New lockdown to last until March and some restrictions for even longer, Michael Gove says | The Independent

At the end of the article it quotes Keir Flick of the Gestapo.

Keir Starmer again criticised the government for being “too slow on almost every occasion” – but said the priority now was making the vaccination programme a success.

“We are in a race against time now. We have got a contract with the British people to say, these are tough restrictions, in return for that, the government has got to roll out the vaccination programme at speed and accelerate that.

And he added: “We have to deal with anti-vax campaigns because they will cost lives.

“If we need to pass emergency legislation to deal with them, I would be willing to work with the government on that.”

I never entered into a contract with anyone from the government and you can shove your legislation up where the son don't shine.

Well, this is hardly a surprise 🙄

Singapore's contact tracing app has been accessed by police to fight crime

Singapore’s government admitted on Monday that it’s Covid-19 contact tracing app can also been accessed by the police for criminal investigations, despite previously reassuring the public that the data would only be used for virus tracking, writes Asia Correspondent Nicola Smith.

Almost 80% of the population has signed up to the TraceTogether programme, which checks the user into various locations. The system is voluntary but has become increasingly necessary in order for people to access basic necessities like the supermarket or their workplace.

In order to assuage public concerns over privacy and encourage people to enrol, the government previously promised the data would only be used for contact tracing purposes if the user tested positive for Covid-19.

However, in an apparent U-turn, Desmond Tan, the minister of state for home affairs, told parliament on Monday that it can also be used “for the purpose of criminal investigation.”

The revelation created a controversy on social media, with some users pledging to delete the app. Australian privacy watchdog Digital Rights Watch told the BBC that the Singaporean approach would “erode public trust in future health responses.”

Thats the thing, people keep calling them lockdown lovers, when should call them their real name.
Like Jeremy Corbyn & the rest of the Socialist "workers" all agreeing with Boris, cept wanting more severe measures.

Nobody is this fucking stupid.......

They are COMMUNISTS & working lockstep to destroy everything.

My sentiments exactly when I read the daily update today.

One Party State!

Prime Minister Boris Johnson previously said it was possible lockdown measures could be eased in mid-February if the top four priority groups were vaccinated by that point.

But Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove has said, March should mark the point at which restrictions can start to be eased, "I think it is right to say that as we enter March we should be able to lift some of these restrictions but not necessarily all."

Gove said, “We will keep it constantly under review but you are absolutely right, we can't predict with certainty that we will be able to lift restrictions in the week commencing 15-22 February.”

“What we will be doing is everything that we can to make sure that as many people as possible are vaccinated, so that we can begin to progressively lift restrictions.”

Keir Starmer said this would be a "struggle."

He said, "Many millions of people complied with (lockdown) last March. It did allow us to get the virus back under control. We need to get back to that (oppressed) spirit.”

Therefore, if the virus was “back under control” Keir, why were restrictions tightened further at that time and how come they subsequently “lost control” when most people were compliant?

Starmer goes on to tell the British people what they are entitled to say, “If that's what you're asking of us, and that is tough, then you've really got to roll out the vaccine."

Yeah, because that's what we all saying, right? 🙄

Scientists in South Africa say there is a "reasonable concern" that the new variant of Covid-19 sweeping across the country might prove to be more resistant to current vaccines being rolled out in the UK and elsewhere, and warn that it makes the need for a global roll-out of vaccines "even more critical".

So, lets rollout the vaccines, globally, while they have no idea of it's efficacy against a new variant.

Like Fuck!

Keir Starmer is going to play the “government incompetence” card for the current state of affairs and the Tories are going to say “mistakes were made, lessons have been learned” and then do it Keir's way.

Met a Russian guy while travelling. He told me nobody gives a fuck, including Putin. He wanted to quickly release a vaccine just to appease the small numbers of people who actually want one. Sounds pretty good to me.

The Russians are launching Sputnik V into people's veins, just like everywhere else.

Here’s a bit of information from yesterday... my first day back in work and I got sent to survey elements of a client’s development site that is currently being used as a COVID19 testing site.

On arriving at site and beginning to unpack our gear we were immediately pounced upon by 5 security staff demanding to know who we were and what we were doing. After a few minutes of questioning it was clear that they were less concerned about what we were actually doing as long as we weren’t taking any photos. Every question revolved around this. “Are you taking photos?” “This is a government site and you can’t take photos,” etc.

We went about our business and were on site over an hour. At all times I had a clear view of the entrance and the exit to the test booths. (This was a dual drive-in / walk-in site) During this time I saw 3 PEOPLE turn up to be tested. Two were in a car, one was on foot.

On returning to the office I queried a colleague who went there before Christmas. He confirmed similar numbers.

Now, given the announcement last night, my question is this:

WHERE ARE THEY GETTING THE NUMBERS FROM?

Even with my rudimentary maths if they are open 8am to 6pm, (10 hours) and let’s give them a bit of leeway at 5 people an hour, that is a maximum of 50 people a day, or 350 people a week.

If these paltry numbers are occurring at this site there would need to be HUGE numbers of tests carried out at other sites to generate the test numbers and "positives" they are quoting if they are to believed. Don’t forget the schools have been off for two weeks over Christmas so where on earth are these numbers coming from?

It was also interesting to note the UK Column news article last night which queried the SAGE / SPI-B government advice which looked as if it was based entirely on supposition with no hard evidence being presented. (Follow the script)

Without doubt this is the final push to break the UK population and their small businesses – and make no mistake this lockdown is intended to be in place until April as a minimum.

I was reading the new lockdown rules for Scotland and baffled by a contradiction.

The new rules state that you have to stay at home as much as possible yet further down in the list it states that you can go out and exercise as much as you like.

WTF is going on with those contradictions in the lockdown rules.

Kier Starmer's role is to agree with the Tory government and to remove any viable political opposition that could potentially challenge what's being implemented or be a rallying point for public opposition.

Btw just seen hobby bobbies on the streets writing down the number plates of passing vehicles

I was thinking about this for a while now. Originally they said there would be a three week gap between first and second vaccinations. All of a sudden it was said now twelve weeks was necessary and would not affect the overall vaccination process of an individual.
Now if there is something nefarious that will be activated by the second vaccine. I have no doubt somethings in it. A three week gap would potentially mean visible effects appearing before enough have been vaccinated at least once. Obviously in twelve weeks a massively larger proportion of people would be on their way, so to speak. This would mean more are irreversibly compromised by the second vaccination. This benefits the agenda in every way. Once you’ve had it there’s no going back.

Would not be surprised if they suggest an even longer period between both vaccinations.

Furlough and social media disinformation is the reason that the majority of people are sitting in their homes accepting their fate.  The majority are still being paid and they can rant and rave and vent and rage from the comfort of their own home and Twitter account.

There's a very good reason there are behavioural psychologists on the SAGE group.

But I have a burning question - a lie and a hoax is very difficult to keep.  Someone always breaks rank - it happened with the Iraq WMD fiasco, it is happening with the Covid fiasco, it happened with Watergate.  But why are the media, the journalists so reticent to write that killer Ronan Farrow-esque piece?  Where are the TV discussion shows with more than one group represented?  Without the hysterical 'antivaxxer' angle?

Why aren't the mainstream talking about the suicide rates and the mental health crisis?  I can understand why they aren't touching upon 5G and AI and even the surveillance state, but they aren't even touching upon the 'softer human interest stories'.

I look through the main papers in despair at the lack of variance and investigative journalism.

Or is it just the Western Hemisphere that has become so muted and narrow-minded?

I think you nailed it, mate.

Support for businesses retail, leisure and hospitality

To quality for a one off grant 51k or above £9,000 grant

15-51k £6,000 grant

below 15k £4,000 grant

This is on top of the grants being paid of up to £3,000 a month and can be used for multiple premises.  No wonder businesses are quick to comply. You can receive a nice fat cheque whilst people are out there working minimum wage.

Because they know it's been -7 degrees in parts of Scotand all week and still not thawing, so nobody wants to exercise.

I have been sledging with my family though! Ha-Ha!

Just had a news flash today ,segments ( not the virus in it's entirety but pieces) of the covid virus has been found in water treatment plants from Tulley to Stanthorpe in Queensland . I find this story ironic, this coming from the ABC the so called bastion of Australian news and honesty.

The irony is, the story is obviously full of shit just like the water treatment plants, you couldn't make this crap up but idiots believe it

Another excellent article from the UK Column... please read and share - sums up pretty well where we are now and where this is heading...

https://www.ukcolumn.org/article/psychological-attack-uk

They may as well scrap the Children's Act 2004 and the 2009 Every Child Matters policy applied to every child from birth until the age of 19, which listed 5 key principles which all children should have rights to. These were to:

  • be healthy
  • stay safe
  • enjoy and achieve
  • make a positive contribution
  • achieve economic well-being

Gyms are already struggling and BBC puts out an article saying how people are exercising without Gyms and will never use them again and how amazing a time they are having exercising without going to the gym.

They realy want to destroy small businesses.
