This topic is for all general discussion regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are of course numerous other related topics for discussing specific aspects of this pandemic in more detail. And there are other parts of this forum for more 'off-topic' discussions.

I never heard of this movie before and it is pretty chilling. It seems at least one of the three credited writers definitely had some inside info on the PTB's future blueprint. Peter Fleischmann, one of the said writers, was also the director and producer. Likely him then, at least, and he is actually still alive. He is due to turn 84 in July.

I would also draw attention to the fact that an earthquake is a theme of the film too.

Yeah I read the long walk, sounds very similar. I also enjoyed reading 27 hours (not seen film) and one of my fave books of all time, into the wild - my fave quote being

"“So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.”
 Christopher McCandless

I’m pretty sure this guy died when he ate a poisonous plant, I remember watching this movie feeling so sad that he chose to be so isolated, I thought back then, note to self... growing some food supply is important.

Watching a film on dvd based on a true story. A group of USSR gulag prisoners escape from a Siberian camp. They go during a full blizzard so the guards can't see them. Straight through the woods and onwards by foot to Mongolia. Point? There were some tough people back then. Real endurance. Also the film Alive is an eye opener. That's when the Uruguayan airplane crashes in the Andes. Survivors had to battle extreme cold and hunger.

Didn’t the plane crash survivors eat the dead

ANTARCTICA🥶

Given that covid is a form of warfare and they have used Antarctica as a propaganda base by claiming their mind weapon virus had reached its shores they have technically violated their own treaty. The treaty is very specific about military operations there.

A Wisconsin Pharmacist left vaccine vials out overnight, to destroy their ability to use them.
He did it on Christmas Eve :-)
He's looking at felony charges.

John, we're from the future - the Covid future - and we've got a plan for your about-to-be-terminated ass.

This one is another smelly rabbit hole. Many pilots have claimed those pilots could never have gone off course. A topic worthy of its own discussion.

Maybe also test them for lung infections caused by breathing vaporized oil in the passenger cabins air. Many have sued for medical injuries. Hypocritical airlines pretending your health means anything to them. I would only fly in them with a full respirator if I even trusted them to stay in the air.

Wow! They risked life and limb facing down an illness 98% survive. Give these fine mandarins a gold teacup.

We shall go on to the end, until we have our golden teacups for bravery.  We shall fight them in a trace, we shall fight them in the trees and with tokens, we will fight them in our breeches, we will fight them in the quarks, we will fight them with the Spandex bras, we will fight them in South Shields, we shall fight them with the NEETs, we will fight them with pills; we shall never surrender.

Furlough and social media disinformation is the reason that the majority of people are sitting in their homes accepting their fate.  The majority are still being paid and they can rant and rave and vent and rage from the comfort of their own home and Twitter account.

There's a very good reason there are behavioural psychologists on the SAGE group.

But I have a burning question - a lie and a hoax is very difficult to keep.  Someone always breaks rank - it happened with the Iraq WMD fiasco, it is happening with the Covid fiasco, it happened with Watergate.  But why are the media, the journalists so reticent to write that killer Ronan Farrow-esque piece?  Where are the TV discussion shows with more than one group represented?  Without the hysterical 'antivaxxer' angle?

Why aren't the mainstream talking about the suicide rates and the mental health crisis?  I can understand why they aren't touching upon 5G and AI and even the surveillance state, but they aren't even touching upon the 'softer human interest stories'.

I look through the main papers in despair at the lack of variance and investigative journalism.

Or is it just the Western Hemisphere that has become so muted and narrow-minded?

Lockdowns are a deliberate and rapid strategy to destroy the working class economy. Why?

Perhaps massive unemployment and widespread hardship is preparation for the privations of a war economy?

Arguably, Brexit was a means to sever societal ties to Europe and negate a moral obligation to immediately fight within an EU military for the defence of an attacked Western Europe. The UK as airstrip one. Again.

There's lots of stuff that only seems to make sense if it is put in the context of a planned Western war with China and Russia...

There was a good magazine / newsaper article on bill gates and how he want to africa and asia injecting people with aids and all other kinds of vile crap. People died,  crippled for life. When they investigated they found his vaccines were full of heavy metals, viruses, toxins and arrest warrants were issued for gates' arrest.

Unfortunatly i have lost the article, and can't find it on a search. Do you have a link to that or anything similar.

Thank you

England’s new lockdown will continue until March and some restrictions will stay in place even longer, Michael Gove says.

Just hours after Boris Johnson promised a mid-February review point, his key ally warned the public to expect the curbs to remain for longer.

“Nobody can predict with accuracy exactly what we will be able to relax and when,” Mr Gove said.

And he added: “I think it's right to say that, as we enter March, we should be able to lift some of these restrictions but not necessarily all.
