Message added by Grumpy Owl,

This topic is for all general discussion regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are of course numerous other related topics for discussing specific aspects of this pandemic in more detail. And there are other parts of this forum for more 'off-topic' discussions.

From David’s home page;  one of the most informative vids I’ve watched; good old fashioned health care - squashed by big pharma; more info debunking viruses etc.

The info on the old fashioned health care is fascinating, and worth trying.

In the meanwhile, Boris says, UK should move on from Cummings row. lol

Craig Murray calls Boris, Blair and others out for using the 'Move On' mantra..

'Let’s Move On From Boris'
.
Boris has a new slogan, “Move on”, which he deployed repeatedly today in his appearance before the House of Commons Liaison Committee. Remembering short slogans is fairly well the extent of his political skills, and he contrived to look pleased with hmself for remembering this one. The public, he solemnly informed those watching, now wanted the narrative to “Move on” from the Dominic Cummings debacle.

The problem with this slogan is it does not have a good history. The aged among us will remember that after the disaster of the Iraq war, it was constantly repeated by Tony Blair. OK, millions of people were dead. But it was time to “move on” from that. Only he could not. The dead of Iraq have haunted him ever since, they enabled Brown to depose him and Blair has the look of a man who believes the dead will be waiting to speak against him in the next life. No matter how much the Guardian still tries constantly to rehabilitate him, he will always have to be protected from the British public, a stinking rich, morally bankrupt pariah.

One of the first articles published in this blog spoke of Blair and his “Move on” mantra. On 21 April 2005 I published from the Blackburn parliamentary election:

Two months ago I arrived here alone, standing forlornly with my rucksack on Blackburn railway station, in the midnight snow. I wanted to make a stand on principle against illegal war, and against Jack Straw’s decision that we should use intelligence obtained under torture. I wanted to get some national publicity for these issues during the campaign, to counter Tony Blair’s mantra: “Let’s move on” from the war.

(Am I the only one to find this mantra insulting? I think I’ll rob a bank to get some campaign funds. When the police come to take me away, I’ll say, “Hey, let’s move on. OK, so I robbed a bank. Whatever the rights and wrongs, that phase is over. What is important is that we all come together now and get behind the really great things I’m going to do with the money.”)

When a politician is desperate enough to use the “move on” slogan, you know they have done something very wrong indeed and are in big trouble.

“And now we must move on from Watergate to the business of the people”

said President Richard Nixon on August 25 1973.

Like Johnson, Nixon made the claim it was “the people” who want to move on. This is the standard mantra for politicians who have done something very illegal: the public do not care, are not interested in justice being visited on politicians. It is always the public who are urging the guilty politicians to “move on” and ignore the trivial detail of their own guilt.

“No decision I have ever made in politics has been as divisive as the decision to go to war to in Iraq. It remains deeply divisive today. I know a large part of the public want to move on.”

Tony Blair on 4 March 2004.

“Our country has been distracted by this matter for too long and I take my responsibility for my part in all of this,” he said. “That is all I can do. Now is the time — in fact, it is past time — to move on. . . . And so tonight I ask you to turn away from the spectacle of the past seven months, to repair the fabric of our national discourse, and to return our attention to all the challenges and all the promise of the next American century.”

Bill Clinton on the Monica Lewinsky affair, August 17th 1998.

We now know it would have been a good deal better if America had not “moved on” but had taken a much deeper interest in Clinton’s appalling history of predatory sexual behaviour.

I presume you see the pattern here. If a politician tells you to “move on” from a subject, it is a gigantic red flag that you should do precisely the opposite. I tried to discover some examples of politicians telling us to “move on” from an issue, where hindsight does not show the politician to have been a massive crook. No examples were readily apparent.

Ladies and gentlemen, I add to this list of shame:

“It is now time to move on… the country wants to move on.”

Boris Johnson 27 May 2020 on the Cummings Scandal.

A new vid from Amazing Polly.

"I have to set the stage, so BOOM comes at about 10 minutes in. This is HUGE! Medical Ethics should be front and center right now what with Big Pharma and NGOs like the Gates Foundation trying to rush an experimental RNA vaccine to market. In this video I uncover a MASSIVE conflict of interest in the US. Who is Christine Grady? BONUS BOOM near the end."

I've never trusted Jordan Peterson

l did, after watching some fascinating interviews and motivational  talks by him.
l noted people calling him out for being involved in helping write a 'paper' for a world health organisation ? (someone help me here, please)  l felt he might have just seen it as a job to help put together other peoples ideas in an understandable way.

But this......this is like a bucket of ice cold water thrown over me.
I no longer trust him either.
Thanks for the original post pointing his support for vaccines out, EnigmaticWorld :classic_cool:

Not the WHO, but the United Nations.

I called him out, but certain people on this forum didn't like it. I sent you a PM at the time. You started a positive thread about Jordan Peterson. I gave

you some different negative information which you didn't mind at all, but someone else did and locked the thread from memory?

Yes, well good luck with that.

Im sure many people will come to realise what’s really going on, but many more will not; I’m finally convinced that the greater mass of humans are morons.

It gives me no pleasure in saying that, in fact it’s incredibly sad.

This shows how truly moronic so many are - and there are many more examples of ‘ways to social distance’. No self respect, no idea of how they are being demeaned.

https://www.prisonplanet.com/public-humiliation-cafes-make-customers-wear-stupid-hats-to-enforce-social-distancing.html

And I ask again, as I have many times on here; what is truth; whose truth?

The moronic masses think their way is the truth; they laugh at us; they abuse us; they think they are superior to us - as most of ‘awake’ people think the same of them.

Totally agree.

Individuals need to save themselves. Even Jesus hasn't saved all though the bible says so. :classic_rolleyes:

The choice to stay moron is their choosing, the level of learning. Leave them and MOVE ON.....garrrh I said it....it's catching. ?

You have a better memory than me.
Thanks, yeah that was the 'issue'....the UN document and the link with Globalists.
l don't remember the thread being locked but someone did have an issue with 'non Peterson bad health posts' (he was in Russia and very ill at the time and that was the opening discussion), but being the OP l didn't mind any contributions. (yet another reason for a reinstatement of all the pre-hacked forum)
l try to stay open minded and ready to change my opinion and it's now pretty much sealed, given his vaccine comments now..

J.K. Rowling announced on Tuesday that she has written a children's fairy tale called "The Ickabog" about a fearsome monster which is "said to eat children." Rowling will release chapters of the book online each weekday for children to have nightmares during these "strange, unsettling times" while leading the way in marginalising actual books, which they may as well burn, if suddenly handling parchment now transmits disease, after 4,000 years.

Interesting choice of the title. ?

At least when the children grows up, they will be curious to find out where JK got her inspiration to name her book. :classic_wink:

I do have a better memory. It was only three months ago!

But for clarity your positive thread about Jordan Peterson wasn't locked. My one and I repeat one negative comment

about Peterson was given a new thread in my name.  .......... A THREAD I DID NOT START

Wow...so...I have been missing the sports I usually watch during the Summer months.  I rather enjoy auto racing, cycling and tennis, and watch them often when they are in-season.  Auto racing, at least in NASCAR, has resumed now beginning last weekend.  It's almost unbearable to watch with all the "face mask" agenda going on.  It looks like all the teams, everyone in NASCAR, and even the TV announcers have been given directives to wear masks at all times.  Even the drivers, when they get out of their cars, put a mask on to their post-race interviews.  It looks absurd, because there are no fans allowed at the tracks yet, just drivers, crew and media.

In the US, the pushing of mask wearing is really strong right now, and there is a symbolism of "Doing my part" in everyone wearing a mask.  Sane people who refuse to wear a mask are now in the tiny minority and looked at as crazy people who want to be dangerous to society disease spreaders.

The designer masks are now all the rage and everyone is buying their "cool" new designer masks with logos and other designs on them.  People are now walking around showing off their new designer mask.  Everyone checking out other people's masks to see what's cool now.

There is no longer a virus pandemic, there's instead a mask pandemic going on.  But, as long as everyone keeps wearing masks the govt, politicians and tyrants will exercise even more power because the wearing of the masks is the people's symbol that they're ok with every insane thing the rulers want to do.  The masks are now the symbol that people want to be dominated and ruled over like livestock.

Saw a video of a college graduation, with all the robed students sitting in chairs that were all 6 feet apart.   People 22 years of age are in the least at risk age group.  It's just nuts.  I would never hire a college graduate who was too dumb not to know this all bullshit.

I am assuming that it is pronounced as 'ika bog' as in inca but without 'n' rather than 'ay ka bog'?

JK says...

Quote

The idea for The Ickabog came to me while I was still writing Harry Potter.

...

The Ickabog is a story about truth and the abuse of power.

Interesting. :classic_wink:

Designer mask manufacturers and sellers are now participating in the fraud.  There's lots of money to be made now in designer masks, and now all the celebrities are hyping the designer masks, logo masks, artistic masks, etc.  Sports figures are donning their team masks.  Masks are the new jewellery that everyone wants to be seen in.  It's like a zombie apocalypse of morons now, all shambling about in their latest fashion masks.

So 6 people can meet up for an outside antisocial gathering next week. Typically we had to be different from Scotland who has chosen the positive and success number 8.

So apart from the obvious we know about number 6, which is 3's in the number of beast i thought i would look at the numerology meaning of the number 6. I found this and i have bolded the important part of this number:

The Number 6 – Rid Your Life Of Negative Energy

In Tarot, six represents the Lovers. In this way, if you keep seeing the number six, it may be a sign you need to embrace inner peace and self-love.

Similarly, when you’re being held back by anxiety or fear, it’s common to see the number 6 all around you. It lets you know that you need to find ways to move past these feelings if you’re going to manifest what you want.

Journal work, therapy, and positive affirmations are some of the best tools at your disposal if you keep seeing the number 6.
