To beat it, we have to ‘out ugly’ these beings. Become even more ruthless in your defiance of them than they are in their will to kill you. Unfortunately, that means being ostracised (again) as a conspiracy theorist terrorist by your community and the masses in general, and here is the problem.

While I understand your frustration, can you think carefully how you present youre posts. Anything suggesting violence is not ok.

I was joking about Iceland...

Those MP's care more about their careers and 'political suicide' than the people they supposedly serve.

It is all so wrong... Deserting Parliament. Then again, it is the house of commons and those are the morals of common people, ever caught between fear and ambition, a most selfish position for man. They need Jesus!

Public emergency alerts to be sent to all UK mobile phones

A siren-like alert will be sent to mobile phone users across the UK next month to test a new government public warning system.

It allows the government and emergency services to send urgent messages warning the public of life-threatening situations like flooding or wildfires.

The test is expected to take place in the early evening of Sunday 23 April.

Phone users will have to acknowledge the alert before they can use other features on their devices.

A message will appear on the home screens of people's devices during the test, with vibration and a loud warning sound that will ring for about 10 seconds - even if the phone is set to silent.

The system is being modelled on similar schemes used in the US, Canada, Japan and The Netherlands.

Messages would only ever come from the government or emergency services and will initially focus on the most serious weather-related events, with the ability to get a message to 90% of mobile users within the relevant area.

Terror alerts could be added to the list of potential events that would trigger a notification.

The messages will include details of the area impacted and instructions about how to respond.

They will only be sent where there is an immediate risk to life and many people may not receive an alert for months or years.

People can opt out by searching their device settings for emergency alerts and then turning off severe and extreme ones.

Officials say the alerts could be life-saving, though, advising against switching them off.

Number of hospital trips recently for my other half visiting a family member.

Took a wrong turn on one visit & went into a large disused ward marked 'Closed for Covid'. Couple of days later the right turn, but wrong floor, again a disused ward with 'Closed  for Covid'.

How many of these wards are there? Is this for something coming? The A&E is chaos & the unions want to sell underfunding, but there are a lot of empty beds not getting used.

I worked for the NHS for 14 years having wards closed is nothing new. Its all down to funding and staff issues mostly. My old trust was always in black alert.

I will miss Agent Broyles, RIP only 55.

Same with the guy from Jurassic Park, he now has blood cancer...

I heard recently Pfizer bought Seagen pharmaceutical for $43 billion and one guess what they threat? Blood cancer and tumours using new technology.

Good work sock you’re at the top of the 5000th page. A historic achievement, 10.4 million views can’t be all that bad can it?
Well done OP and everyone who posts and frequents this little corner of sanity in an insane world!

So as per the above quote by reborn, I revealed the 'baffling' black magic/hypnosis trick which the MSM uses.

LastOne went ahead and tested out in the forum and many were baffled. 😁 I hope you used it for something good.

There was an ebook called Hypnotic writing by Joe Vitale a decade or so ago. Anyone read it?

Good for marketing or to push a propaganda. 😆

All smart phones have the capability to receive these public service announcements. In countries with earthquakes or amber alerts its perfectly common. Its only in the UK we dont have them yet.

An amber alert is an American PSA for missing kids and peado's on the loose, its broadcast with pictures too. All Liberals are required to accept the service and people are socially shunned for not participating, although I'm sure authorities would also abuse it to catch enemies of the state.

Also, any number of the characters that an actors plays, is better and far more interesting, than the actors themselves. As people they're usually weird and suck.

Just to ramp up the fear? WW3 and all that?

By the time they sent a text to say 'A gigantic astroid is about to hit the Earth in 6 mins 66 seconds.' What can you do than panic? 🤔😁

Anyway, my phones are most likely off anyway. No need to change the setting.

My local one doesn't or I'd buy it for the cats. Easier than getting it delivered from Kiezebrink - I get 10% off in Iceland on Tuesdays

Sorry I laughed but until Nemo added the extra comment underneath, I did believe that Iceland sold rabbits too and about to do a product search. 😁
