Traditional values have already been eroded now, so maybe that's why you feel like it's dying out. We shouldn't need J music industry bs and drugs to feel love for our kinfolk. And we definitely shouldn't let them use our love and altruism against us. I say that as an ex raver myself, but I was more into Jungle and DnB until I grew out of that repetitive asphalt culture scene. For me it started with house music, then d+b, then breaks, then indie and rock, then back to house, then a weird mash of all those genres, never really one scene, I treated it like it was all one thing. The house music culture was what opened me up to what was possible with love and understanding. I still feel it to this day, with a tear in my eye.
