If I want to fly back to Blighty to see family, I can but I need to take a PCR test and pass negative 2 days before teh flight, then wear a mask for 10 hours across the Atlantic, then take another PCR test there and fill out a passenger locator form. What a palava. I can't go back to Japan either. I keep in touch with friends over there and Japan has blocked entry to non-Japanese citizens flying from the USA and the UK.

Pretty sure, don't quote me on it, but testing to come into the UK has now stopped or it will be doing shortly.

One could enter another EU country that allows entry for the unvaxxed and no residence requirement, but it would require a "test", at the moment 😒 and then travel to Spain. Also making sure of your access to use public transport, if wanting to use it, as in some countries they require vaccination and to have their pass. It is all very complicated, but it can be done. Make sure you study the rules of the countries you are visiting and travelling through,

These are some of the current rules on Portugal, full info on link below.

If you’re not fully vaccinated

If you’re not fully vaccinated, you’ll need to show proof of a negative PCR test (taken no more than 72 hours before entry) or rapid lateral flow test (taken no more than 24 hours before entry) when you check in for your flight to mainland Portugal. See information on getting a test before entry

Make sure your test is carried out by a trained healthcare professional. Self-administered tests are not acceptable. If you take a rapid lateral flow test, check it meets the standards set out in the EU common list of Rapid Antigen Tests.

If you’re not fully vaccinated and your airline allows you to travel to mainland Portugal without a negative test, you will be denied entry on arrival unless you’re legally resident. In this case, you’ll be allowed to enter but you’ll have to take a test at the airport at your own expense and you will be fined a minimum of €300.

If you’re transiting through Portugal

If you’re transiting through Portugal on your way to another country, you’ll need to follow the rules that apply to your vaccination status, even if you’re arriving by air and are staying in the airport (airside).

Further information about transiting through Portugal can be found on the Portuguese immigration service website.

What a ludicrous palaver for rebranded seasonal flu with a survival rate of 99.8%!

The slippery slope of micro-regulation began before convid, as a response to claimed 'Islamist terror' - iris scans for ordinary tourists back from the Costa Blanca etc.

It needs hardly pointing out that 'Islamist terror' was just as bogus as convid, being orchestrated by Deep State forces with handful of mercenaries/nutcases of Muslim origin for decorative purposes.

Dominating the UK anti-vax community are 13 national networks including the Great Reopening, supported by prominent coronavirus conspiracy theorists such as David Icke – who has claimed that the world is run by a race of lizard people – and Jeremy Corbyn’s brother, Piers.

The likes of Boris, Macron, Biden, Trudaeu etc. can be discounted for a start from the list of possibilities as to who or what really runs the world, whereas a race of lizard people is still very much in the running.

Wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to Spain?

I have family over there, but no way I'm getting a jab to enter the country. Hopefully next year the entry requirements will be dropped.

If you don't mind a test before flying and another one when you land you can fly to Gibraltar and walk over the border to La Linea without a vax passport no problem

Another day, another vax..it's like potions class with Harry Potter, only much less believable 😁

https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/germans-pin-hopes-novavax-moving-needle-among-anti-vaxxers-2022-02-13/

Note the quote : "Richter, who has had to take a daily COVID test to teach and learned how to cut his hair by himself, said his main motivation to get vaccinated was freedom. I am not doing it out of conviction, but rather from external pressure."

The big headline: 'A JAB FOR FREEDOM'

If you have to get a biological/chemical concoction to be 'free' then you are already enslaved.

There are none so hopelessly enslaved as those who imagine themselves to be free.

The official government site says testing is still required. I'll wait until they scrap all requirements before I book but the airlines will still require masks as far as I can tell. BA, United, American, and Virgin do and there's no way I'm taking a 10 hour flight wearing a mask.

Food for thought 🤔 In the past there has been a lot of this going on throughout the Royals, @ one point, I thought that Megan might poison Kate🤣

Hitler had person to taste food before he eat anything... I wonder if with their German roots (with kosher spice) they inherited the same suspicious lizard protective gen. 😆

I was even prepared to upgrade to business class. Same old shit. Besides, as @Trufflepigsays, why take a chance with a triple-vaxxed pilot?  I have heard that cargo ships sometimes take passengers. I wonder if they'd require a mask. I just won't wear one for any reason.

There's an exception in the rules so you may not need a jab, depends on who the family are exactly and the reason for travel. You'll have to convince the person at the boarding gate, but not necessarily anyone in Spain.
