Golden Retriever
If my maths is correct, which I'm pretty sure it is, one person in every 55 people in the UK have tested positive for the lurgi. I still don't know anyone who's tested positive. I must have at least 100 combined family, friends and acquantainces and none of them have either taken a test or tested positive. Population of UK is 66,000,000 Number of positive tests is 1,192,013 https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/uk/

Nemuri Kyoshiro
Meanwhile. the Japanese have discovered a way you can get away from it all and still work your bollocks off. They've installed wi-fi and workstations in their national parks - and if you've never visited one, they are awe-inspiring - so the drones can get back to nature and look at trees whilst they tap away on their keyboards. I thought the whole purpose of national parks and suchlike was that they provide a haven away from wage slavery. There's no getting away from our digital prison, even in the wilds and, of course, it's all thanks to Covid 19. https://www.insidejapantours.com/blog/2020/11/03/working-from-forests-national-parks-set-up-wifi-workstations/?utm_source=RedEye&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Closer to Japan Pt1&utm_content=UK_B2C_CTJ_1&nosubsite=ABVariantB

Though I did learn earlier this week that my sister's boyfriend's brother - who shares a house with them - was apparently tested 'positive' though I don't believe he's actually sick or showing any symptoms. The rest of my family are concerned as my sister recovered from breast cancer treatment a couple of years ago and has a weakened immune system due to chemotherapy. I've heard of a few people locally who've supposedly died 'from coronavirus', but I don't believe that was the cause of death. If supposedly hundreds of people are being tested daily, I'm surprised I don't hear more from people I know who've been tested.

banjo dog
Not been on forum since page 400. Apologies if some thing similar has been posted since I was last here. Been thinking earlier this week and Thursday gave me the chance to put thoughts into words. A conversation with the finance director at work got round to the wearing of masks. He told me about seeing some one in a sure market not wearing one and wished he had been brave enough to challenge this fellow. I asked him if he wore one in shops before July 24th "No" came his muffled reply. Can you remember seeing any one wearing a mask before July 24th. He thought for a while and said "No". "Therefore are you and every body else wearing a mask because you really believe it will stop you getting infected, or do you put one on because Boris Johnson has told you to"?. He turned on his heels saying some thing about having no answer for that one. Dear friends as we know there was nothing to stop any one wearing a mask before this date and they are not hard to get hold of. This could be a useful argument to put fore-ward and get some of the sheeple to start thinking for their selves. The first lock down didn't work and was more severe than this one, so how the hell does Boris and co think that this lock down will make any difference. Another good question for any one who buys into the bull shit ( fuck, doesn't the world stink at the moment). Again, apologies if some thing similar has already been posted over the last 28 pages. That's enough from me for the moment, got some catching up to do. Page 401 here I come.

Titled 'Open Letter to the Commissioner: Tyranny of Government, or Best Interests of the People?', the document was sent on October 26, five months after NSW came out of lockdown. It was signed off by Senior Constable Alexander Cooney, a highway patrol officer from Coffs Harbour, north of Sydney, and called into questioned the legitimacy of the state's coronavirus response. zarkov
Damage control Some of Larken Rose's past comments "How weird is it that most people get this question wrong?: You're a customer in need of some product or service, and you get to choose one of the following: 1) A company tells you what it will do, and what the price is, and you can decide whether to take the deal. 2) A company will tell you what it will do, FORCE you to pay whatever price it demands, and then do whatever the hell it wants. Which of these arrangements is more likely to serve your interests?" 8 years ago "This and no other is the root from which a tyrant springs; when he first appears he is a protector." (Plato) It was true two thousand years ago. It is still true today." "The myth of "authority," when wielded by tyrants, is not used just to deprive us of material wealth--which would be bad enough. Instead, what drives true tyrants is the desire to deprive their subjects of their HUMANITY, by replacing their free will and self-determination with the will of the tyrant. In short, "government" is the engine for love of dominion: the epitome of evil, and the opposite of humanity." numnuts
I was off the forum, for a few months, over the summer. Did the government, I am sure this must have evolved over time too, ever actually define what they meant when they used the term 'a positive test'? For example, in the early days at least, were they were using test results from the same type of test that amazingly came back positive from a goat, a lemon and Matt Hancock's anus? Again, in the early days at least, was anyone being marked down as testing positive, simply as a result of a telephone call to a medical professional or a 111 advisor? Does anyone know who was responsible for forcing the BBC to add 'deaths for any reason within 28 days of a positive test', in small print, underneath the grossly oversized death toll figure? It must have been someone with a bit of weight or someone who stubbornly went down the legal route. Kudos, to whoever it was. Despite that politics prohibited the protests, people came and stayed anyways. Peaceful protests with tremendous positive energy. Police forces didn't aggressively stop the protests. In fact they were securing the protests again aggressive antifa people and even opened up the roadblocks after massive pressure from the people.
Mr H
“THESE are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands by it Now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: — ‘Tis dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to set a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed, if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.” ―Thomas Paine, The American Crisis, Number 1
