I wouldn't necessarily go that far, but the kung Fu monks are capable of amazing feats and all with the power of their minds. Of course, correctly breathing being a component of their skills. Essentially chi is a life force which they are able to harness and use. It's fascinating stuff. I've seen monks break steal bars with their heads. It's not about how hard you work either.....but it's about how you think, a shift of your focus. He talked about being oneness....so coming from the perspective of we are all connected, be it physically holding an opponent or slightly apart....doesn't matter. Got a lot of clues from this video.
