HMP Fallowfield!

They will remove the prison fence, but, “Alternative security measures, including additional security patrols are being put in place.”

What are those additional security measures - inmates/students fitted with necklaces that explode if they pass the electronic security parimeter?  Also in the clip the guards, armed, wear COVID masks.

You'd need to be Michael Scofield just to nip out for a packet of Doritos!

Yep, move outside the geofence and you're terminated. You just slave away all day for your mealworm burger.

The whole debacle looks staged to demonstrate a 'zero-tolerance' show of force by the stasi.

Very much so, with people being arrested by being bundled to the ground by half a dozen snatch squad rozzers or being kettled, all to frighten off people going on such marches.  The Liverpool Stasi were busy last night as well.

I know it was supposed to be closer to Manchester, than Liverpool, but the makeshift army base in '28 Days Later' was operated by army boys offering the 'answer to infection'. This is a 28 days lockdown. The sequel '28 Weeks Later', which I haven't seen in ages and might view again this weekend, would relate to 21st May 2021. if we were going by the start date of the current lockdown. Definitely some weird coincidences there.

Interesting article over the government's criminal activities.

High Treason is not law. Following orders is not an excuse. This was well established at Nuremberg. Their time will come.

They have criminalised everyone, just for quietly living their lives....

I think most of it is just threats. Apparently police have only actually been issuing 2 fines a day since March! All this is based on threats it seems and intimidation

I wonder what happens if you do download it, and then delete it again. Then you get another call, you be a good boy and download it, and then delete it again..

If the app is removed is it completely removed?

Story sounds a bit suss to be honest. No legal requirement to download the app. I wonder if it’s just a crafted story put out there knowing that it might scare people into downloading it.

Possible.  My opinion is that someone in "authority" was trying it on, making the law up as they go along, which is not uncommon.

Who would have thought all those years ago when we got our first mobile phones that took AA batteries and downloaded songs on Napster to play on our Walkmans that 25 years later we would be here in this mess with crap that can track you, crap that decides whether or not you can travel, work etc

Unimaginable

Much rather go back to walking to a pay phone, putting in 10p and ringing your mate at home and asking his mum if he was there and I would meet him in 10 minutes.

This in our pockets that I am typing on now is literally the cause of so much that is bad

Exactly

its not a legal requirement to own a phone either

True.  However at some point, I expect a smartphone and the Track & Trace app to be the key to enter places.

Valenzuela City to implement ‘no QR code, no entry’ rule

Published September 15, 2020 9:17pm

The Valenzuela City government will implement a “no QR code, no entry” policy in establishments starting October 5 to make contact tracing more efficient.

According to Jun Veneracion’s report on “24 Oras” on Tuesday, residents and non-residents of the city will no longer have to fill out contact tracing forms.

Instead, they will just scan their QR codes generated through the “ValTrace” application to automatically submit their information to the establishments.

Things have been bad enough in Central London, now as this article indicates it is going to be a commercial wasteland.

Body-blow: London shops, pubs and restaurants “will not survive” lockdown 2.0

Business chiefs sound the alarm as West End footfall crashes by more than half

T

he devastation facing central London’s economy is laid bare today as bosses warn some businesses will never emerge from the “body blow” of a second lockdown.

Footfall in the West End was down by 65per cent yesterday on the previous Thursday as the government’s enforced four-week closure of pubs, restaurants, “non-essential” shops and leisure centres came into force.

Business leaders told the Evening Standard that while Chancellor Rishi Sunak’s extension of furlough until April would protect jobs, it will not prevent some already-struggling firms from going under without further support. The new restrictions are forecast to hit the capital’s economy to the tune of £6 billion by December 2.

Top comment on the Daily Mail 'London protests' article.

'Wish the police had shown the same enthusiasm stopping the BLM protesters.' + 1534.  - 88.

I followed the Daily Mail comments for about 15 minutes last night. Doing my duty!, thumbing up all the

pro protest comments and thumbing down some of the downright evil comments saying the protesters

should get the Con virus and die!

I'm sure there were Government 77th brigade people on there. Too many identical comments which were anti

the protest from different users. The 77th brigade were given a script.
