NZ PM Jacinda Ardern's van is driven off the road by anti-vaxxers who called her a 'Nazi' and shouted 'shame on you' in video captured days before she imposed strict new Covid restrictions over NINE cases

Video footage showed a silver Mercedes carrying PM Jacinda Ardern being forced off the road in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand, by anti-vaxxers who joked about being arrested for the stunt.

Long read soz, but its a pretty fair and damning assessment of the sh!t-show down here atm.

How lockdown-loving lefties have turned my glorious New Zealand into a hermit kingdom: Families are forced to isolate for up to 24 days, borders are slammed shut for two years, and the streets are deserted, writes despairing Kiwi

DAVID SEYMOUR

(Leader of the "Libertarian" Act  Party - who's completely on board with vax passes)

Yesterday morning I received a bleak text message. It was from the chairman of a local business association near my home in the Auckland suburb of Newmarket and contained a photograph of my local train station, usually a busy commuter route full of hustle and bustle.

It was completely devoid of life.

That snapshot spoke a thousand words: as we surpass the two-year anniversary of the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, something close to normality has finally resumed for many across the globe.

But here in our far-flung corner of the Southern Hemisphere, isolated behind our still-sealed border, we endlessly push around a hamster wheel of ever more wearying rules and restrictions.

Among them is a staggering isolation period of up to 24 days for those in households where someone has tested positive, a mandatory cap of 100 vaccinated people at public events — a devastating imposition on the entertainment industry in this, our peak summer season — and compulsory mask wearing almost everywhere, including for school pupils aged eight and up.

You might think that only a devastating upward spiral of deaths and serious illness could justify continuing such measures, not to mention introducing new ones.

Alas not. They were introduced last week after confirmation of just nine new cases of Omicron, largely centred on a family who contracted the virus on a trip to Auckland for a wedding from their home in the South Island.

Nine new cases in a country where 93 per cent of the population is now double vaccinated — but nine cases too many for our Left-wing Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, committed as she apparently is to a policy of 'Zero Covid' at any cost.

To coin the phrase of one of her predecessors, Sir John Key, her policies are turning us into a 'hermit kingdom'.

Bars and restaurants have folded, among them iconic spots loved by locals and visitors alike, while those that have survived so far are half full at best, courtesy of a population petrified lest they test positive for Covid and must isolate for 14 days, while anyone in their household must stay confined for a further ten.

That potentially takes people out of the workplace — and society — for nearly a month.

Thanks to these gruesome rules, weddings are being cancelled across the country and nightclubs haven't bothered opening up.

What's more, these businesses haven't caught their breath since the last bout of restrictions which lasted nearly four months and were only lifted in December.

Tourism — once this country's largest export industry — has been laid to waste thanks to a two-year border closure: since March 2020 no one has been able to enter New Zealand without first spending at least ten days in a state-sanctioned quarantine hotel at their own expense, and where they are supervised by military personnel.

Places usually bustling with peak-season tourists at this time of year are little more than ghost towns, their glaciers, lakes and vineyards unloved and unvisited.

Waitangi Day, the national day of New Zealand, is approaching on February 6. But the commemorations at Waitangi Treaty Grounds, which used to attract 30,000 people annually, have been cancelled.

Sporting events have all but disappeared. While other nations watched agog as the world's top tennis player, Novak Djokovic, was deported and barred from participating in the Australian Open over his vaccination status, the most striking aspect of the story from our perspective is that the tournament went ahead at all: our equivalent, the Auckland Open, hasn't taken place for two years.

And just imagine the heartbreak for those citizens here who don't dare leave our country for fear of being unable to return.

Or for the near one million-strong population of New Zealanders living abroad who have little prospect of coming home because, to do so, they have to enter a lottery for one of a small number of hotel quarantine rooms here, with only a 12 per cent chance of being successful.

It is desperately sad to watch the confident, free society I have always loved give way to this closeted, insular one, bound by what feels like ever-more authoritarian measures with no end in sight.

To add insult to injury, we are effectively banned from testing ourselves for Covid, as happens all over the world.

Only a 'trained tester' such as a medic or a pharmacist is allowed to do the job, and anyone who imports rapid antigen tests for home use could face up to six months in jail.

This is hardly in the spirit of the liberal, laid-back New Zealand the world once knew. It is little wonder that, weary of what feels like creeping authoritarianism and a never-ending marathon of restrictions, the population is kicking back.

The polls have moved inexorably against the government for a year now.

Meanwhile, we are labouring under record petrol and food prices — in my local supermarket, a small head of broccoli now retails for the equivalent of £2.50. Like many countries, New Zealand has engaged in a vast amount of irresponsible government borrowing over the past two years, and as with any binge, the hangover is imminent: businesses are struggling and inflation figures due out this week are expected to be the highest here in 30 years.

You might think all this should give our government something to focus on. Instead, our evening television bulletins are still dominated by public health doomsters making their gloomy forecasts.

You can hardly blame disgruntled Kiwis for moaning that Lefties love nothing more than the excuse to impose a lockdown.

Make no mistake — I threw my support behind our Prime Minister's decision to close our borders back in March 2020. Along with the rest of the world, our country faced enormous uncertainty as the spectre of Covid started to unfurl across the globe.

At first, everyone believed that using our strategic advantage to isolate ourselves was a price worth paying.

Sealing our border to buy time, stop a rapid spread of the disease and save lives was entirely sensible. But it must be emphasised that no one back then — Jacinda Ardern included — thought that elimination of the virus was possible.

By stealth, however, Zero Covid became the policy, and it is one that has kept our population in a state of fear about getting our way of life back. After all, fear is a powerful political tool, and it is a tool that our government has continually deployed. It is frightening to be told by your prime minister that tens of thousands will die and, understandably, parts of the population are now permeated by the most extraordinary concern that if the borders open that's exactly what will happen.

But it seems many are losing their patience.

Ardern's Labour Party, which in 2017 won nearly 50 per cent of the vote, has dropped to around 35 points in the polls. We've seen, for the first time in 15 years, the majority of Kiwis say our country is going in the wrong direction.

While the rest of the world moves forward, it feels like we in New Zealand are moving backwards, reduced to look on enviously as you go about your business.

Good evening Skizorat,

I saw that someone or a few on the forum were in NZ, I didn't realise you were until now.

I thought that you were under the usual tyranny like UK and Europe, maybe a bit worse towards Aus. The above is really sad reading, I was lucky enough to spend 4 months in NZ working in 2012 and when asked, despite being so far from Europe was always one of the most memorable places I have ever been and would always recommend as the countryside and nature alone far outweigh the effort of travelling. I hope we come out of this mental asylum soon because life is too short for being controlled by psychopaths.

I've been busy this evening, so didn't get a chance to comment on Danny Shine's Euston gig, and his performance art.

I've seen him around London with his push-bike and megaphone, doing what he does, long before he did things for the camera and YouTube, so at least 15, if not 20 years, so by now, he's got it down to a fine art.

I used to think he was crazy, but in recent years, he comes across as being more sane than most people that he encounters in his street videos, but he's not as prolific these days, as he was 18 months ago.

I'm sure the 'incident' in the station made his day. The over zealous, irate chap with the pointy finger didn't come across well, but I did sympathise because who could tell without knowing who Danny was, that it was street theatre? In times such as these, a yellow vest can be like a red flag to a bull. Was the chap - Pointing Finger - virtue signalling or having a stressful day? Will he ever know he was finger pointing a pure blood?

Danny Shine is like a modern day Diogenes, cynical but also philosophical. When Plato gave the tongue-in-cheek definition of man as "featherless bipeds," Diogenes plucked a chicken and brought it into Plato's Academy, saying, "Behold! I've brought you a man."

Danny Shine always wants to know why people do what they do, and why people think the way they think, and time and time again, he reveals that people do things without for capacity for critical thinking, or knowing why they do, what they do.

A lot of people don't really know why they had the vaccine. They think they do, but with a few Danny Shine questions, it quickly becomes clear that most people had it because they just did what they were told or because they were following what everyone else is doing. They didn't think it through, even though they thought they did.

I had no idea that he had a channel. I ran into him in Trafalgar Square five years ago as he took the piss out of riot police. I don't have time to watch all of that video just now but enjoyed the ten minutes I did watch, even though it is incredibly sad as well as funny.

I know many may disagree but here in England we've had it easier than many other countries during Covid. Sure there have been times when weve approached the edge but there's no other country I'd prefer to have been in during this plandemic.

It has brought to light the rumblings of Fascism but I think WWII is still so ingrained in our memory that there is still the wisdom to recognise its many forms and tempting encroachments.

Still even such temporary laws that diminish our freedoms are in a way much like ones self respect. Once you've lost it you never 'really' get it back.

The saddest thing during this pandemic has been watching most of the nation become cowardly in the face of a threat, stupid, reactionary and defeatest.

Yet worse still are the media schills that will say anything with passion and conviction and now that the end is in sight, will back peddle and say whatever saves themselves.

And the bastards, decievers of men, such wickidness in high places those hidden hands of the Elite must be exposed.

We must never forget...

This is entirely relevant, you don't have to like this guy, that's not important, just see what he's doing, he's showing how proposterous it is for people just to accept someone stopping them entering a building and asking them about their personal medical history!
And these people are just fucking well accepting it!
If you don't want to watch the whole thing then just watch from 17:50 the guy explains what he's doing very clearly.
Well done Robss for posting this one, I feel it's really important and portrays how gullible the public can be.

EDIT:  I like this guy - he's got big fucking balls to do what he's doing, well brave, doesn't matter that he's doing it for revenue through poo-toob, he's doing something very valuable in my opinion.

Although the ancient Egyptians rarely initiated those considered 'barbarian' into their mysteries there are some notable historical figures that the Egyptian Priests did initiate into the first degrees of the lower mysteries that the 'New World' although degenerated, would retain a portion of the divine wisdom that in time may blossom to aid the suffering of the doubtless multitudes to come.

Plato being the best known foreign initiate who following his initiation founded the 'Platonic School' in Greece bringing the new world maths, geometry and musical scales. Another foreigner initiated into the Egyptian mysteries was King Eleusis who following his initiation went to found the Eleusinian mysteries.

King Eleusis upon returning from Egypt wrote a set of laws for his nation. He then in wisdom, placed the tablet of laws so high up that no-one could possibly read it, he then divulged but a single law to his people by mouth. And spoke thus... "Those who transgress these laws, will be executed".I

So the nation of Eleusis was ruled by the self conscience of the people and as such their self respect was assured. A rare commodity in this globalised melting pot of different tribes with different ways of living right.

At a time when “the only certainty is more uncertainty”, countries must unite to forge a new, more hopeful and equal path, UN Secretary-General António Guterres told the General Assembly on Friday, laying out his priorities for 2022.

“We face a five-alarm global fire that requires the full mobilization of all countries,” he said, referring to the raging COVID-19 pandemic, a morally bankrupt global financial system, the climate crisis, lawlessness in cyberspace, and diminished peace and security.

He stressed that countries “must go into emergency mode”, and now is the time to act as the response will determine global outcomes for decades ahead.

Alarm 1: The COVID-19 battle

Stopping coronavirus spread must be at the top of the agenda everywhere, said Mr. Guterres, calling for countries to “go into emergency mode in the COVID-19 battle.”

At the same time, the virus cannot be used as “cover” to undermine human rights, curtail civil space and freedoms, or impose disproportionate restrictions.

“Our actions must be grounded in science and common sense,” he said. “The science is clear: Vaccines work.  Vaccines save lives.”

(I do believe that is why we have seen restrictions lifted. to put the emphasis on universal vaccines, or else...)

Yet, vaccine inequity persists despite a global strategy to inoculate 40 per cent of all people by the end of last year, and 70 per cent by the middle of this year.

Prioritize COVAX

Richer nations have vaccination rates seven times higher than those in countries in Africa, meaning the continent will not reach the 70 per cent threshold until August 2024.

Furthermore, although 1.5 billion doses are produced each month, distribution is “scandalously unequal,” he said.

“Instead of the virus spreading like wildfire, we need vaccines to spread like wildfire,” Mr. Guterres stated, urging all countries and manufacturers to prioritize supply to the COVAX solidarity initiative.

He also underscored the need to combat the “plague” of vaccine misinformation, and to improve preparedness for future pandemics, including through strengthening the authority of the World Health Organization.

https://news.un.org/en/story/2022/01/1110292

For the Secretary-General, countries have no choice than to go into “emergency mode” against the climate crisis

(Because that requires ‘state of emergency’ Executive Orders in response.)

They love being told what to do, in all societies you have the leaders of the pack IE government types, zionists, WEC, WHO, presidents

Then under them you have the general population, who blindly follow the leaders of the pack, they make up about 90% of the population

The other 10% are free thinkers : us

Our brains are wired different, we think differently, we are different.

This is true in animals as well as we have seen in all those documentary programs, they also have the leader of the pack who they follow and obey, but occassionally one of the free thinkers will rise up and challenge for leadership,

the free thinkers think, the other 90% obey. All societies / groups / packs / civilizations behave in the same way.

I made a thread on this. Read, leave a comment, tell me what you think, do you agree, do you disagree, can this be improved upon?

Hey Buddy!

It was "normal" here, like 99% for the past 18months throughout the whole "pandemic" but since August something just went *snap* and instantly we're now living under one of the most brutal regimes ever. Vax passes for everywhere, everything, came into effect Dec - even government recommendations people checked them for Christmas guests in their homes.... and telling us we can't, or can, go to the toilet inside a house if big groups were having BBQs in the backward.

I read today (and saw clip) that the cops are tasering "anti-vaxxers" who got into a fight for not wearing a mask at a bottle shop - because that's how our cops roll now. The also like march around small townships and in groups of 7-10 surround one-legged disabled men in their 50s having a coffee outside a cafe and forcibly made him move on and charged him because he didnt have a passport. Bet they've been watching their Aussie counterparts salivating over the fun they'd been having and so happy they've been let off the leash.

Local coffee shops, halfway through making a takeaway coffee for a regular and having already paid with efptos suddenly realize he didnt have a passport so refunded the electronic transaction, dumped the coffee and kicking him out... lol

Pregnant woman being refused to be treated/examined inside the local clinic so they took here out back into a shed.... or a bloke getting his leg plastered outside on a make-do bed thing, next to rubbish bins....

Even though our borders are slammed shut and we have  to play a 12% lottery to get home, the govt has also fast tracked residency for 170K immigrants that they managed get in over the past year just now too.... even though we already have 100s of thousands of our own people still sleeping in cars and 10s of thousands of business' going under.

Taxing the shit out of farmers so they cant raise livestock and playing around with water rights etc cos we issued an International "climate emergency" last year.

Third highest inflation rate in the OCED just now.

They've fast tracked laws recently where sex on birth certs can be changed too and during the original lockdown in 2020 they fast tracked, in secret, laws allowing extremely late term abortions.

And dont get me started on our Orwellian "hate speech" and their pandemic laws forced through without parliamentary oversight which even caught the ire of international bodies.

So Jacinda is really powering ahead with the Globalist agenda. Full stream ahead.

She's a star.

Win Win for Globohomo.

And fuck all push back, there was a bit, but now people have (myself included) just overwhelmingly accepted this new-normal.

I'm just laying low and will never take the poison.

Wonder how things will change when its the next booster in 4 months etc - HOW LONG CAN THIS BE SUSTAINABLE?

I'm just staying home lol

I think its turning, would be a nice time to do some of those tramping routes if you could keep supplies up and that's your kind of thing but I imagine even that could be made difficult by the sound of it.

Over 42 million more vaccination certificates issued than vaccine doses administered

In Germany, since the start of the vaccination campaign 13 months ago, 42.6 million more digital vaccination certificates have been issued than corona vaccine doses have been administered. By last Friday, 204.7 million digital certificates for corona vaccinations had been issued, as the Federal Ministry of Health informed the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung” (NOZ) on request. However, according to the ministry, “only” 162.1 million doses for first, second and third vaccinations were injected up to this Monday, i.e. 42.6 million fewer.

According to the report, the ministry sees in the difference neither an indication of fake vaccination cards nor of millions of unreported vaccinations. A ministry spokesman gave “various reasons” when asked by NOZ. On the one hand, "especially at the beginning of the application, many certificates were automatically created by vaccination centers and sent to the vaccinated persons", while the persons concerned had often already received a certificate in a pharmacy. Furthermore, certificates could “also be issued more than once if, for example, a person loses their certificate

I think its turning, would be a nice time to do some of those tramping routes if you could keep supplies up and that's your kind of thing but I imagine even that could be made difficult by the sound of it.

Cheers

Yesterdays news - Why the actual fvck does NZ, a nobody down at the bottom of the world, have issue a statement and get involved in any of this fiasco is beyond me - they're not even our trading partners.

I guess when the UN/Globalism says you gotta chip in your two cents to add to the *pressure* and distraction, you have to what you're told.

We're not even a real country. What a joke.

I bet Putin's real scared.

Russians were banned from coming here! They cant even get in! lol

No doubt if the rich ones wanted a holiday they'd be welcomed in via yacht

How embarrassing.

New Zealand has called on Russia to reduce the “risk of a severe miscalculation” as the United States readies its troops for a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine.

New Zealand strongly supports Ukraine’s  ... We call on Russia to act in a manner consistent with international law and to take immediate steps to reduce tensions and the risk of a severe miscalculation,”

New Zealand as a small country, that has strong commitments to an international set of rules ... This is a really serious challenge to the type of international system that we think suits us,”

, there were other measures the Government might take.

things like political engagement, the ability to travel into New Zealand.

Go tramping in the beautiful NZ bush?!

Sorry, need a vax pass to stay at the Dept of Conservation (DOC) huts
