skitzorat Posted January 13, 2022 Share Posted January 13, 2022 LA Times Columnist Endorses Mocking Anti-Vaxxers' Deaths As 'Necessary' The Los Angeles Times on Monday published a piece from columnist Michael Hiltzik calling for mocking the deaths of "anti-vaxxers" as "necessary." The first archive of Hiltzik's column was titled, "Mocking anti-vaxxers' deaths is ghoulish, yes -- but necessary." The URL for the post suggests the column was initially titled, "Why Shouldn't We Dance On The Graves of Anti-Vaxxers?" Perhaps it was changed by Hiltzik or by an editor before it was posted (or right after). It currently reads, "Mocking anti-vaxxers' COVID deaths is ghoulish, yes — but may be necessary." Hiltzik's piece mainly focused around mocking the tragic death of conservative activist Kelly Ernby, who is said to have died of unspecified "covid complications" last week at the age of 46. Ernby was widely smeared in the media as an "anti-vaxxer" because she opposed using children as guinea pigs for medical experimentation and forcing them to get covid mRNA therapeutic injections as a requirement to go to school. Hiltzik wrote in the LA Times: Kelly Ernby's friends and family ask us to remember her for her career as a public servant and as a devoted spouse and mother. But let's not mince words: Her campaigns against public health measures negated whatever good she may have done in her other endeavors. The policies Ernby advocated may well have contributed to the spread of COVID and to the damaging of the public health infrastructure in her own community. Even before this pandemic, she spoke out for measures that would threaten California schoolchildren with exposure to deadly childhood diseases. There were no scientific or medical grounds for her opposition to mandates; there was only political ideology. The number of covid cases in America is currently skyrocketing and has never been higher, despite some 62% or more of the population being "fully vaccinated" and a significant percentage of those being "boosted." The double and triple vaxxed are coming down with the disease en masse and experiencing symptoms just like the unvaccinated. The "vaccines" have clearly failed at stopping the spread of covid and whether they make the relatively mild Omicron variant somewhat milder is still up for debate. There's currently data coming out of Denmark indicating the "fully vaccinated" are now more likely to contract Omicron. It may be not a little ghoulish to celebrate or exult in the deaths of vaccine opponents. And it may be proper to express sympathy and solicitude to those they leave behind. But mockery is not necessarily the wrong reaction to those who publicly mocked anti-COVID measures and encouraged others to follow suit, before they perished of the disease the dangers of which they belittled. Nor is it wrong to deny them our sympathy and solicitude, or to make sure it’s known when their deaths are marked that they had stood fast against measures that might have protected others from the fate they succumbed to themselves. There may be no other way to make sure that the lessons of these teachable moments are heard. What the MSM fail to question is the rules were stupid in the first place. But the masses just wait for their instructions on what to be outraged about. It's kind of funny my dad and his Mrs are in bed with "the COVID" after testing positive. She's just had her booster and tested positive. "I don't want to rub it in but how's the jab working for you"? He admits it's a load of crap as they've been boosted. There really is no helping people. Oh and another family member is close to having a major stroke according to gp. Of course the vaccine is not looked at as a possible cause. She's already had a major stroke after the last 2 vaccines. She won't listen. And will just shout me down. So I got to sit back and not be surprised when she finally dies. Absolute madness. I feel guilty. But the fact most insurance polices have carve outs for taking part in medical experiments. I don't think many people are going to get paid out. Not sure I agree with the suicide ruling.
