We were debating something one day. Not arguing, but a proper debate. I can't even recall what it was.

 

Anyway, he decided to play the race card and recite an example of when he suffered racial prejudice. His experience was a genuine one.

 

He didn't expect my reply.

 

"I really don't care. If you think you can play the race card to make me feel guilty for something that I didn't do you're talking to the wrong person."

 

Anyway, it didn't affect our friendship at all.

 

I think he appreciated my honestly.

 

He also knows that I am not interested in political correctness.

It was quite a few years ago now.

I don't think he meant to. I think it was more a case of choosing a really bad example. But what he brought up was nothing to do with the topic of discussion

 

He is a very smart bloke and a very successful businessman. He recounted his experience when he was auditing a country club in the US. If I recall, there was a complaint and a request he not be on the audit team. Or something very similar.

 

But our conversation wasn't heated and he wasn't accusing me of anything. If that's what you wondering.

 

We live in different countries now but we still catch up on the phone regularly. Talk for a few hours.

It sounds like he was trying to make you feel a bit guilty for the way he was treated, but it seems like it was a trivial matter.

 

Some people here complain about discrimination against white people. IMO, all discrimination is bad, otherwise, how could one object to vaccine mandates, which are discriminating against healthy people?

When I hear the word 'selfish' now I react pretty much as I do when I hear the words 'conspiracy theorist.' I know I am dealing with an imbecile. She then went on about her and husband and how they take lateral flow tests. I didn't say any more about it. I just looked pityingly at this person. Fully jabbed, masked and taking lateral flow tests when they hardly go out and aren't in a supposedly vulnerable group. It's pathetic behaviour.

 

I then showed her the various stories of people in the mainstream media who have died of blood clots and the like directly relating to the jabs themselves. She had told me much earlier in this that if it isn't being reported on MSM then she found that highly dubious. Coincidentally, my unpleasant neighbour feels that as well. As I showed her, I watched as she visibly turned her head away and stubbornly refused to view the stories. Now, I don't know what that indicates but I was aware that I was in the presence of a very stupid person. Shortly thereafter, she left and I watched her scuttle back to her car. I have known this person forever yet I don't recognise her anymore. 

 

I made a thread on this showing why people worship the tv, may be helpful to understand why they behave so and also ideas on how to counter it.

If I recall (and even if I am wrong this is how I am going to recount it as he is not here to correct me ) I was making better points. He had probably seen this sort of stuff on CNN or other cable news networks and thought it was a good argument.

People discriminate all the time.

 

Most men prefer a hot looking slim girl over some NZ horse tyrant.

 

If you have a high IQ you're going to prefer the company of like minded thinkers.

 

Discrimination is bad when it is based on completely irrational or absurd foundations. Like the color of someone's skin.

Completely agree. It's such a waste of energy that could be used on self-improvement, but playing the race card and making people feel guilty is wrong. Both black and white people play the race card, but thankfully, they're a minority. They're the type of people that like manipulating others, and they often use all kinds of tactics, and will even manipulate their friends. If either a black or white person tries to make me feel guilty for something I don't do, they can think again if they expect me to be politically correct, too!

I suspect that one of the reasons behind it is to create a wedge.

 

The narrative to the clotted will be that there are only a few unreasonable and irrational people standing between you returning to a normal life.

 

They are to blame for all your woes.

 

A bit like how the Nazis blamed the Jews for Germany's problems.

Dr Lee Merritt, who is on our side of the argument, experienced sudden bleeding from the nose (which couldn't be stemmed) after being in the company of the clotted.

 

She had to take Ivermectin and other things before it would stop.

 

There have been quite a few nurses calling in to Alex Jones and other shows claiming this has happened to them. I find it difficult to accept that they are all lying.

 

We know that one of the effects of the clot shots is to turn the human body into a spike protein factory. I don't think it is completely unrealistic to conclude that these proteins (or perhaps even nanotech) can spread through surface contact.

It's a war and the government's using propaganda - it only undermines any claim they're genuinely concerned about health. There are so many reasons why the government's stance on tackling Covid is really about control, I've lost count!
