I can't watch BoJo, the fella has the demeanour of a bewildered hedgehog trying to avoid getting splatted under a car wheel. I bet he spends hours before press conferences rehearsing his orders from the cabal like Luca Brasi in The Godfather, then he finally gets up to deliver and still fucks it up.  One of the least convincing front men in recent memory.

Here is a short clip from the 2018 BBC documentary Inside the Foreign Office, which was very much like this throughout the series, with Boris having difficulty in concentrating and remembering his lines.

Someone posted that YouTube link to the Songbird trailer earlier.  Looks like New York has taken it seriously.

Things are moving fast folks.

Gov. Cuomo announces mandatory COVID-19 testing for out-of-state travelers

October 31, 2020

Visitors to New York from nearly every U.S.  state will have to quarantine for three days and then prove they are COVID-19-free before “going about their business,” according to a new policy announced Saturday by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Now, travelers must show proof of a negative test taken within three days of arriving in the Empire State, and must also quarantine for three more days — and get a new COVID-19 on the fourth.

I often think about people in these positions. Naturally, and rightly, we focus on the corruption. But it fascinates me sometimes that they're willing to put themselves in these positions, when they could do anything.

I know that a lot of it comes from childhood upbringing, elite conditioning, and probably pure ego, but I look at someone like Trump, and wonder what the fuck he is doing taking on a really difficult job, at his age, in his position, when he hasn't got the slightest idea what he's doing. He has to just follow the counsel of advisors because he doesn't have the remotest clue about anything. He humiliates himself virtually every day, and he has to take on all of these massive responsibilities and difficult situations all of the time, the majority of which he deals with badly.

You can't ever be 'off', at least not in public. With Boris Johnson there, if someone asked me "what do you think about the diplomatic relationship between Britain and Portugal?", I would say that I couldn't give a toss. They're always going on about the 'special relationship' between the US and the UK; have you actually ever met a real person that cares about this? Or any number of other issues. You're always expected to behave in a certain way, and there's always this expectation to glorify things, or else make them seem like a grave threat. Like in a Tale of Two Cities, it's always the best of times, or the worst of times. It's always the most important election ever that will define the world for generations to come.

If I was as rich as them, I would be doing something enjoyable. I suppose they don't look at it that way, I suppose that they're driven by ego, attention-seeking, what they perceive to be duty, and they ultimately can't enjoy themselves. Maybe once they get to that level, there's too much dirt, and the only way they can preserve themselves is to play ball with what is required of them. If it was me, I would hope that I would take a step back and realise that life is too short to waste on such nonsense as performing before the camera in a vain attempt to convince people that I care about what happened in Portugal during the Second World War because I'm the Foreign Secretary and I'm supposed to know about it (although it's not entirely clear why I'm supposed to know about it).

Anyone else hear ALOT of nervousness in all three of their voices - people I were watching it with did too??

Bonus point though, lockdown starts 5th november yeah?
Lets use boris and his chums as a 'guy'

Someone has just tweeted (just in time'

PARLIMENTS SQUARE - MARCH FOR FREEDOM - MIDDAY on WEDNESDAY the 4th november

Won't do much but maybe we can all march on to the bbc and have a word with them?

I don't think protests are really doing much to change things.  No disrespect for those that attend, I think you're all absolutely wonderful. I think another plan of action is needed, and I don't mean one with  violence, because that's what they want. We've had 3(?) huge protests in London, and now a second national lockdown is about to happen.

This is interesting, UK Government paying digital influencers to promote COVID19 discussions:

PSYOP anyone?

Talking of PSYOPS, how to get a Prime Minister to change his mind: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8901399/No-10-aide-health-bosses-told-PM-ice-rinks-used-mortuaries-Covid.html#article-8901399

I am not sure a few tens of thousands of bodies would really pose the state a problem. Look how they got rid of 10 million animals during foot and mouth.
