Buy a steamer, anytime I get a sign of mere sniffles or sore throat now, I steam and it seems to work well for me. Stuffy nose and sinus headache, steam is good. Don't buy a cup one though they're not so good. I bought a facial steamer which had the nose contraption part that came with it and it's easier to control.
