Message added by Grumpy Owl,

This topic is for all general discussion regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are of course numerous other related topics for discussing specific aspects of this pandemic in more detail. And there are other parts of this forum for more 'off-topic' discussions.

the number is much lower. in fact so low that statistically speaking there would be no reason to finger point the non-jabbed.

this is why they hype up the numbers so it looks like a % that could impact upon society (not that contagion /infection is real)

I tend to agree. This makes them bullies. Brutal to the core.

Agreed.

Rather ironically, this began because I replied to them as they were discussing the Biblical god. I simply stated I didn't believe the Christian god to be especially loving.  If god works through his followers, I am very likely vindicated now on that score.

I get a satisfaction from receiving a confirmation that I am on the right track especially when they all come out of the woodwork to reveal themselves when I am say something they don't want the masses to know. They have to put a stop to that. I am like a forum fumigator. See how psychology works?

So I think it is important to remember that a lot of people did their bit when called voluntarily and not hold it against them, and a fair number of people that I am aware of are outright refusing the third shot to the head, there's still light in this thing/nightmare.

They don't know the meaning of the word integrity. They say anything and then blithely contradict themselves when it suites them, because they are liars. That's been proven repeatedly.

First comes denial, then the bleedin obvious.

you are posting a lot here bobb but you don't appear to be sharing any information

maybe you could calm down a bit because every post you post that says nothing at all buries the posts that actually do say something

Just been told I've got to work from home. Boom, easy street, but fuck me the compliance is ridiculous.

I've been working from home since March 2020. I don't miss the commute though. I work in the federal system so none of the buildings where I would normally go are open, but the mandate has not been enforced and, from what I am told, the federal employees will not comply. They have a strong union and there's a ton of push back that is not getting any publicity. My own 'union' keeps on sending me stuff encouraging me to get jabbed so we can all get 'back to normal' but not many are buying that bullshit any more.

Normal as we knew it has gone, I would suggest. Now there's just varying degrees of the 'new' normal whatever that is. It smells very much to me like totalitarianism.

this is a ridiculous image and I wish folks would stop sharing this type of misinformation. The nose does not lead straight to the throat that way, the passage goes upwards at an angle, thats why it can enter the blood brain barrier..... Have some common sense before you forward stuff.

“So you can take your legislation, you can take your mandate and you can take a flying leap. And I suggest you pull your head in, otherwise you’re going to find yourself coming up against a judgment from God that you are just not prepared for … $15,000 fine for not taking a jab? You can go and take a flying leap because this pastor, this man of God is not bowing down to your tyranny, your evil, nor your ungodliness.”

Well said, pastor.

Lingering heart damage many months after overcoming Covid, scientists claim.

Yes, 'after overcoming Covid', as in 'asymptomatic Covid'. So, you never knew you had it, even mildly, but it still got you the following year regardless, via a connected heart attack. Ha ha ha ha.

If you have to be 'given' freedoms, then you are not free, you are enslaved.

According to many thinkers, enslavement is the logical end result of 'democracy'. 'Democracy' always decays into the rule of money and media.

Has there ever been a democracy of high standard anywhere in the world though? I don't think so and, if there hasn't, then I would argue that humanity has never existed in a democracy. There is no such thing as pure democracy, but I feel that we are way below the threshold of 'x' amount of critical thinkers needed to keep society healthy.

Asking the wrong question - it should be "why are we still having restrictions after 1 year of vaxxing". But, of course,  they can't admit to the real answer.

around one in 10 eligible people in the UK – 6.4 million – remain unvaccinated.

I find that figure quite encouraging, especially given the fact that a lot of folks now don't seem so keen on getting their boosters. We must be at least 10 million strong.

So, after being double jabbed and then having a booster and flu jab, at the same time, even although it’s ‘efficacy’ wanes after a couple of months, you also require a Lateral Flow Test to leave the country and a PCR test upon your return and quarantine in a mask, for good measure. It appears Covid is indestructible! Is anyone truly still buying this?

Yes, a lateral flow test that BBC News stated had a 50% false negative outcome. Eh?
