We are too harsh with mask wearers perhaps. There's nothing wrong with wearing them as an odd private habit, not inflicted on others - apart from the fact that they don't actually work. As I delight in telling mask wearers: you might as well have that thing slung round your forehead or neck for all the good it does. Still, surely consenting adults should be allowed to wear them in private, if that's their 'thing'. Maybe wearing a mask will make you live for 150 years as Michael Jackson(this could be tabloid guff) allegedly believed.
