Yep in the UK large IT systems have an amazing track record of success! :-)

I’m not disagreeing with you. Just stating that at the moment in general they are steamrolling all logical thought. And I feel all the vaxxed muppets will support anything that make life unbearable for those that don’t follow the party line.

Well their track record makes things encouraging. Remember the UK internet Porn Blocker bill?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-57143746

Campaigners are "astonished" that the government's draft Online Safety Bill does not contain long-promised age verification checks for pornography.

Companies have invested heavily in the technology in recent years to prepare for legally-required checks.

But an earlier law requiring them was never enforced.

Not surprised, those who watch it are likely to be those who are tasked with enforcing it

Quote: They will impose a new DIGITAL CRYPTO currency on the world, controlled by them (their GLOBAL RESET).

Ok your turn.

off topic but just to tidy both our misunderstandings up here so we can begin on a fresh slate:

This is why I said "semantics" - It would appear wires were crossed. I'm not sure if you were being deliberately obtuse and nit-picky but it was quite obvious to me from the context of the entire post that cosmos was referring to just plain digitalized currency.

Forgive us uneducated plebeians, I can't speak for cosmos but it certainly wasn't my intention to overstate my amateur understanding of cyber-based currency,  but as you have well expressed most of us are mere rookies when it comes to correct application and understanding of them.

Nevertheless it is correct to state that any form of global digital currency linked to all aspects of our individualized ID's and eventually our biology (think mRNA coded Humanv2.0 connecting to the Internet of Things with a finger) will require encryption somehow, whether through blockchain or some other iteration of technocracy I couldnt possibly know (as I said clairvoyance isn't the strongest of my psychic abilities) - but the convid pandemic has certain provided both the chance at finalizing the infrastructure and the excuse to justify to the masses its implementation.

Finally yes,  I concede not cryptocurrency specifically but I believe [as in the original context/reference to "digital currency"]  whatever dystopian nightmare our future holds re; money/form of exchange on the market - it will not be same processes as our current retail electronic funds transfers.

I hope you can forgive my staggering ineptitude whilst simultaneously understanding where it came from and that it did not come from a place of sheer arrogance so we can put this to rest now.✌️

Any information you post will get slided.

Funny coz the crypto thread is dead as usual, like the rest of the forum.

Its a massive topic in itself & most who criticise dont really have much of a clue.

I suggest all avenues, gold, silver & crypto...but they are all heavily manipulated & each have their own risk.

FIAT is going to shit that is the obvious here.

Fiat, crypto, gold, silver, .............................. None of this will buy essential foods or medicines when we have to survive in the wild. Barter or murder will be the only forms of exchange.

Just saying.

Not only precious metals but stuff like coffee, tinned goods, and even laundry detergent. Second-hand clothes are flying off the racks here locally too. They've successfully induced a state of abject panic into people and they are grasping.

Drove by the pharmacy today on my way to pick up my shoes from the mender, and the queue was two deep and around the building. Today it's flu jabs. People who have been done by the clot shot are now waiting for a flu shot. Man do they look sick. Heads buried in their phones, shuffling along, many young, obese people leaning on canes. It's pitiful and I fear that when the screw really gets tightened, many of them will not survive long.

Lead story in today's online Izvestia, sorry Guardian. Nurses and shop staff are allegedly facing increased hostility from the public. Why this should be a surprise to the writer is unclear. The public has been abused, debased, mocked, and generally ridiculed by the NHS and by shops, transport providers, and sundry related industries. They have refused people service for not wearing a mask, they have administered treatment that ends and not prolongs life, they have insulted us with their bloody videos, and now they expect people to be nice to them?

I hear you mate, I feel similar. The quality of information appears (not in all cases or from all posters) in part, to also have reduced in quality. I also notice a few regular posters are not so regular. I count myself in that group but since restrictions have lifted I'm back to full time in office working, so my free time has diminished.

I'll no doubt be frequenting the boards more regular when the next lockdown comes, but I think this time the resistance will be that great the dam will burst. I said last year I felt the tide had turned and I still feel that way. Some more pain to come first as it has to get worse before it gets better, but they're not winning this and every move appears desperate, rushed and they're exposing themselves.

I don't know when this will end but it will be a happy ending for those that survive. I'm just worried about my double jabbered Mrs, complaining of dizziness, but she's putting half of this down to the early start of the menopause. Me personally, I say jab but I 🤷.

One things for sure, everyone on here needs to stop bickering, as my man Mr Marley said:

Why's this fussing and a-fighting?

I want to know, Lord, I want to know

Why's this bumping and a-boring?

I want to know, Lord, I want to know now

We should really love each other (love each other)

In peace and harmony (peace and harmony)

Instead, we're fussing and fighting (fussing and fighting)

And them workin' iniquity

You see, until we stop it and direct our anger and energy in the right direction, the pain will continue. We'll learn, clearly not yet though.

As my other man Mr Tumbles said....... "We're all frens!!!!!"

I've not posted on the forum, here in Ickeville in several months, save for a brief cameo a few weeks ago (thanks for not noticing my absence, by the way). I will spare you my reasons for the self imposed vow of silence. So, for me to crawl out of my bunker and go through the trouble of logging in and then typing this out on the ever frustrating tiny phone keyboard, well, you can only imagine how cheesed off I am.

What has you so cheesed off, KingKitty?

Glad you asked.

It's the every growing trend of derailing this particular thread. Enough, already. How hard can it be to stay on topic? This web forum has just about any topic one can conceive. They are easily found with little to no effort.

When one pays attention, it's clear a majority of the derailers are newer members. That should come as no surprise. What is most upsetting to the King Kitty is, how many long time members are now following suit.

A month or so ago, I speculated it may be a sign the the "pandemic" hysteria was waning and perhaps the constant attemps to derail this thread were a result of tedium and lack of new content. But, as anyone can see going about their new normal lives, it ain't. THEY aren't done with us yet. It's still just the first act.

On the surface, going off topic might appear as nothing more than annoying. I would suggest it's more than it appears, but who gives a rat's ass about my opinions? So, I will simply end my rant with the suggestion that the moderator(s) of this thread work harder at keeping things on track, please. And, to you long time members, to stop taking the bait. You should know better.

Right then...back to the bunker for me. Meanwhile, ti stay on the topic of this mega-thread, you can have a listen to my song, "The Same Song and Dance", over at Soundcloud. It's dedicated to all the NHS workers in the UK for their tremendous efforts they've put into making TikTok videos during this global pandemic.

Then they'll manipulate case/death figures downwards and ta-daa! they'll think they've backed the unvaxxed into a corner. Too obvious guys, waaayyyy too obvious.

This could backfire.

Who then could they blame for the rise in PCR positives? Which will happen during flu season.

Unless off course they massively scale down the testing.

This is the biggest reason for my avoiding this thread. It has become tedious and annoying. Also an agenda is evident. Even some long time posters are seriously messed up... My opinion.

Just talking to my son about it.

Or maybe, like football tongue swallowings, it will go out of fashion.
