Some are my superiors and will have me down as a potential thorn/danger whenever they make the jab compulsory in our workplace. The most difficult thing in all of this has been the people who were on the same page in the beginning but gradually (and secretly) lost heart. Out of the blue they were boasting of having their second jab. Seriously, given the conversations we had last Spring and summer, it would be like Simon TV or Ziggy just popping up in this thread tomorrow and boasting that they've had their first booster jab. Good for them - genuinely. But those people who are not fine are ending up in hospital, often staying there for weeks before dying or being released, perhaps with long Covid. And that's on top of every thing else hospitals have to deal with. If you live in this country, YOU are dependent on our underfunded and overstretched health service. So even if you don't want to be jabbed, the life you enjoy so much will continue to be affected by restrictions until enough people do get themselves vaccinated for there to be a decent enough wall of protection. It will take time and it's not a pleasant situation. As far as I can see, the adults are facing up to it and getting on with things, while the brats are whining, spouting conspiracy nonsense and engaging in ridiculous point-scoring every time they get the merest glimpes of vaccine "failure". The decision to take the vax was the crossroads moment for humanity/society. I can't see any way back for those who have had the jab(s). Certainly not the two. Probably no point thinking about it, just be glad you were one of those who declined the "invitation". A lot of people only had it under the illusion/promise that they'd keep their job, go on hols, visit family, attend events etc. Even then, they should have put their life (and soul) first. Governments of UK, US Russia, China, Germany, France actively enable and participate in the global dissemination of munitions at industrial levels of scale. Loss of life is the inevitable outcome of that specific action and is undeniable which makes them complicit in death. They do this because they care about life and present it in the name of defence because they are trustworthy! Sometimes saying something along those lines has worked for me but mostly people are not receptive because TV/media plays too large a part in their lives. I advised my dad not to get the booster (but he went and got it anyway). If he didn't get it and died i'd get some blame. At least now it's out of my hands. Out of likes mate but I no longer post on a football site for the same reason. Having said that, football sites are probably not the ideal place to discuss stuff like this. Anyway, I hate modern football. The clubs, owners, fans, and players. I'm lucky in that I got to see the greats of the past play. They have politicized the game after monetizing every aspect of it.
