Shy Talk Posted October 1, 2021 Share Posted October 1, 2021 Just in case any parents are still wavering about getting their kids jabbed, this is from the JCVI (joint committee on vaccine and immunisation) not government stooges: The current update relates to JCVI’s review of considerations for the vaccination of children aged 12 to 15 years who do not have underlying health conditions that put them at increased risk from COVID-19. A precautionary approach was agreed given the very low risk of serious disease in those aged 12 to 15 years without an underlying health condition that puts them at increased risk. Given the very low risk of serious COVID-19 disease in otherwise healthy 12 to 15 year olds, considerations on the potential harms and benefits of vaccination are very finely balanced and a precautionary approach was agreed. TV is a very dark place so venture in at your own risk. Better to spend time improving your health and your mind. Read a book, listen to a lecture or play a board game.
