What are the disadvantages (cons) of RO filtration?

• Wastes as much as 6x the amount of clean water produced
• Requires professional maintenance to ensure effectiveness and safety

have fun with tap water i guess... that does seem like a direct hit piece on RO systems, i mean if it requires professional maintenance then so does every other water filter system. We can go back and fourth but im guna say if you trust the government saying chlorine is safe in drinking water you are a little screwy. alkaline water is a interesting, but who the heck knows what that will do and if we should ingest alkaline water.

I tried drinking alkaline water for a day and it made me violently sick. It can cause metabolic abnormalities and that is what happened to me. Also, it can cause kidney problems. I use a Berkey filter which gets rid of most of the crap they put in tap water.

For dissolved minerals to be bio-available they need to be chelated to an organic molecule in order for the body to use. Salt, bicarbonate and magnesium are the only exceptions iirc.

The majority of dissolved minerals in tap water in fact contaminates the body and add to its toxic burden.

There is a book, downloadable from some websites.... , called Hypnotic Writing by Joe Vitale which you would find it interesting if you want to know how it's done. Although the book is about gaining customers but our targets are kind of customers you want to persuade.

Not only a hit piece on ro (whatever that may be ) systems but any form of water not provided by a government or corporation

I drank nothing but potable water obtained by reverse osmosis for years,admittedly when i got home i drank flouridated water .(theyve been adding it here for years) but suffered no ill effects from the water i drank on ships and rigs,i have no teeth except false ones so that totally fucks their 'good for the teeth' argument

 

I also don't quite get what the sudden uproar is about flouridating the water,theyve been doing it for years in the UK and the vast majority of people where its been happening haven't got a clue its in it already

 

Check here to se if you've been flouridated already and if you have could you explain to me why its suddenly a big deal ? the damage has been done long ago (note i have absolutely no connection to the company nor do i have any of their products its just a handy link to show exactly what and where its happening)
