Seems you have taken offense to my comment. Why does the music industry need to destroy a rainforest to build a guitar? Why can't the music industry such as Gibson, build a guitar out of sustainable trees from a farm? Is this too logical of a thought?

 

How many Earth's are there in the universe for us to destroy so we can have material shit that we don't absolutely need but want because we have been programmed to believe that it is a definition of "success"?

i am asking why is it ok for animals to destroy as part of their natural existence

the world/earth can't tell the difference between an elephant ripping down a tree or the music industry

so your motivation based on the common denominator of such an event would appear to be "moral superiority"

 

if you could send elephants to the school of moral superiority to learn not to rip up trees

any elephants that fail to get their diploma

Yeah and who would doubt that that "circuit breaker" is going to take a long time to break. They just put the name in there to make people think its only 2 weeks, after the time is over its very likely the cases will still be going up and they'll declare a need to extend until Christmas.

 

Similar to the way the field of psychiatry works, "oh your anti-depressants are giving you suicidal thoughts? You must not be getting enough then! Take double the dose and come back to me next week"

Took my daughter to doctors last night said she needs to self isolate do a test etc. So having no choice but to do it I looked into swab test. At test centres they are shoving the thing very far into nose etc. Wife say s in Italy people are terrified of it.

problem being if you do the test yourself at home the government advise is different. The swab you do is nowhere near as invasive.

I know it’s a bull, just wondered why the heavy handed ness at test centres.

Peru had the most draconian lockdown policy on the planet & the highest amount of deaths per capita.

Plus all this long covid is pseudo bollocks. No different from any other flu. For a virus that 99.8% fully recover & has only killed around 300 people in the Uk without underlying health conditions under the age of 60.

In the Three-Tier system which starts at "medium" then "high" and "very high" there is no “low."

 

The very high alert level, RED, will see people banned from socialising with other households both indoors and in private gardens, while bars and pubs will be closed unless they can operate as restaurants. Alcohol could be served in pubs operating as restaurants in these areas, but only as part of a meal. Residents will also be advised against travelling in and out of these areas, while it will be up local politicians as to whether other leisure venues such as gyms and casinos should also close.

 

The high level, AMBER, will see people prevented from socialising with other households indoors, although support bubbles will still be permitted. In these areas, the rule of six will continue to apply outdoors in public spaces, as well as private gardens.

 

The medium level, YELLOW, includes the "rule of six" and the 10pm curfew for pubs, bars and restaurants.

 

There is no low level, GREEN, to go... where all restrictions are lifted and we return to normaility.

Yet here we are... i feel just totally lost I have gotten through the last 6 months by just trying my best - home improvements, spending time with kids, lots of journaling, reflecting, planning...... I'm just getting back on my feet and so are my kids. I dont think I'll survive this a second time. I really dont think I can do it :( 

Keep your chin up and block out all of the nonsense you see on the news. It's enough to turn someone to the bottle when you see the madness and programming going on.

 

Stick to concentrating on your kids, writing, spending time in nature etc. Do what's good for you. Stay on here. Where others can help and listen.

 

Hope you're doing okay as I say and remember that you're on the good side ☺️
