Message added by Grumpy Owl,

This topic is for all general discussion regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are of course numerous other related topics for discussing specific aspects of this pandemic in more detail. And there are other parts of this forum for more 'off-topic' discussions.

My suggestion... study the product information sheets in fine detail. Best ammunition available. I have them all if you you want to save some time looking.

Yes please

@BruiseL

(as mentioned above) here are the product information documents for:

Canada: https://write.as/darianfentos/how-to-find-covid-jab-product-monographs-on-health-canadas-website

Australia: https://write.as/darianfentos/essential-regulatory-documentation-how-to-locate-covid-vaccine-product-r3q3

United States: https://write.as/darianfentos/essential-regulatory-documentation-how-to-locate-covid-vaccine-product

I haven't done the UK version yet, but I'm pretty sure you can find each one here by using the search bar: https://products.mhra.gov.uk/

https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/national/queensland/baby-mia-s-nsw-family-to-miss-funeral-while-waiting-in-qld-quarantine-20210812-p58i4s.html

This is absolutely horrific.

5 month old baby died in a tragic accident and due to restrictions, her family cannot attend her funeral.

To quote this idiotic Dr -

"Dr Young said the park where the incident happened was close to where she lived and she knew it well. “It is an absolutely tragic and terrible situation, but I can’t make it tragic even more [tragic] by having someone go to a funeral and spread the virus.”

However, there does appear to be some suspicious numerology involved.."An online fundraiser had amassed $133,500 in donations by Thursday morning."

The article was also posted at 12.22. Could be a coincidence, but I do like to question these things.

I don't care if you're religious or not, there is no other terminology for this than "PURE EVIL."

Which one are they trying to force you to take?

They haven't said, residents and other staff had A/Z but I think the letter is leaving it to me. I'll wait to see what the union says I think. A friend just rang me from another care home, she's had her letter too but won't be having it either. She said she'd put her notice in but I asked her not to do that and make them sack you.

I expect this will happen here in the UK eventually, I've been stocking up for a good few months now but even if you've stocked up on loads it's not going to be enough to last you a year or two.

And here is the UK what will many preppers do when it gets to the stage of people coming to rob them with knives and guns?

There is a group of lawyers in the UK who are doing some great work defending care workers who are refusing the vaccine. Im trying to find the link for you and hope it may help. I think you are right to tell your friend not to resign. If/when they sack her she can then make an unfair dismissal claim against them.

@BruiseL

A few objections I could think of for the Astra jab, for example (page numbers below refer to this document: http://www.guildlink.com.au/gc/ws/astra/pi.cfm?product=appc19vx10721 from the TGA, or you can also access from Astra's official website: COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca Product Information: https://www.astrazeneca.com.au/medicines/product-information.html ):

Ethical/religious:

"This product contains genetically modified organisms." ( TGA, p. 1)

It's not fully approved:

"provisional approval... on the basis of short term efficacy and safety data." ( TGA, p. 1)

Hypersensitivity including anaphylaxis

Real risk. You could be allergic to the ingredients. (TGA, p. 3)

Thrombosis and thrombocytopenia

Deaths have already occurred, and are still occurring (officially acknowledged). Your doctor will need to consult a blood specialist if you have this kind of serious reaction. Note that some reactions can occur more than 21 days after injection (TGA, pp. 3-4)

Capillary leak syndrome

Again, deaths have been reported. If you have this reaction, "Intensive support therapy is usually warranted" (TGA, p. 4).

Demyelinating disorders (i.e. brain/nerve damage)

Astra says they have been reported after vaccination, but it hasn't been fully established. In other words, possible, they don't know (TGA, p. 4).

Immunocompromised individuals

"The immunogenicity, efficacy and safety of COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca has not been assessed  in immunocompromised individuals" - again, another major unknown for safety. (TGA, p. 4)

Duration of protection

This one is comedy gold. They have no idea how long the protection lasts! LOL. So your employer demands you take it, but can't even say how long it's protecting you for (I know, it's all bullshit, but even by their own logic it makes no sense): "The duration of protection has not yet been established. Studies are ongoing." (TGA, p. 5)

If you are over 65??

"There are currently limited data available for the efficacy and safety in individuals over 65 years of age." (TGA, p. 5) Another major knowledge gap.

Effects on fertility - completely unknown

"It is unknown whether COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca may impact fertility. No data are available." -- do you want to have a baby in the future? Your employer can't guarantee you won't be effected in this way. Are they willing to accept liability if you can't have kids later?

Not verified safe for pregnant women - no data

Well, say no bloody more. This is nothing less than outrageous: https://darianfentos.writeas.com/is-the-astrazeneca-covid-vaccine-safe-for-pregnant-women

Breastfeeding??

Again. No friggin idea. (TGA, p. 6)

I mean talk about plenty of ammunition to use against your employer. Wow. Go to town on the bastards.
