I saw someone say once that during the war had the Germans invaded Britain a sizeable proportion of the population would have happily turned tail on their neighbours.... and we were taught the everyday Germans were the baddies "still trying to understand how the Germans could go along with it [Nazi Germany]" At least they've been very helpful in being exceedingly loud and boisterous about documenting their true colours... will be useful when We Win This War.....
