This topic is for all general discussion regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are of course numerous other related topics for discussing specific aspects of this pandemic in more detail. And there are other parts of this forum for more 'off-topic' discussions.

Is this the msm confirming in a roundabout way that shedding is a thing?

Rochelle Walensky said “new science” observed in recent days demonstrated that new variants of the coronavirus were transmissible by people who have been fully vaccinated in some cases.

The new variants of the coronavirus are those that have been artificially created in a lab and then injected into millions of people. By reinforcing masks on these people the virus is being trapped within the body, the body's normal method of expelling the viral particles (coughing and sneezing) is being restricted and denied.

You make a fair point, but TPTB have also promoted decadence over the years so It's understandable if a lot of the working class aren't always 100% wholesome. Not sure how I would react if that was my kid either.

Like some of us have previously discussed on here though, there are likely bad actors trying to make us look bad too so I'm open to both possibilities.

Of course, and I haven't been wholesome on here myself, but it often now seems to be taken to an extreme extent where everything you see and read in some places is effectively a string of expletives.  I've noticed it especially on the No New Normal sub-reddit, which I stopped looking at for that reason - there are some excellent posts on there, but a large percentage of posters see fit to use the 'f' word or the 's' word every time they want to share their experiences with people.  I sometimes swear myself, but the mundane ubiquity of it is a personal annoyance to me.  Does it have to be every single time?  Does every annoying situation require us to say 'f' or 's'?

It seems large sections of the population have lost the art of articulation and/or an understanding of the power of simple words.  It would be a much more powerful video if she had said:

"This is my child, so consent is for me to give or not give, and I will not allow you to give him/her that test.  Now please respect my wishes as the parent.  Thank you."

That would draw in a very large and sympathetic audience.  Instead we get 'f' this and 'f' that, and quite honestly, I had to switch off after 20 seconds.  It's not that I lack sympathy, but it will affect sympathy for her in some quarters.  People - in my view, rightly - look down their noses a bit at those who can't make a point without f'ing and blinding, and sometimes when I see it, I do wonder if maybe it's a contrived or staged situation to discredit us by making us look oafish.

Covid Mania Down Under: Tape Doors Shut, Stay Off Balconies

National Rugby League (NRL) players and their families have been banned from their balconies and ordered to tape them shut to stop Covid in parts of Queensland, Australia.

Australian health officials imposed the draconian measures on NRL families in quarantine hubs in Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast after photographers took pictures of residents passing items such as ice lollies and marshmallows to each other from their balconies.

“You would have seen that imagery of the family hotel where they were sharing goods between verandahs… This is too risky,” railed the Chief Health Officer for Queensland, Dr Jeannette Young, in comments quoted by Daily Mail Australia — which boasts of having “alerted Queensland Health” about the “breaches” in the first place.

New reports show the lengths to which the authorities are willing to go to enforce what critics have described as a ban on “fresh air”, with Emma Lawrence of 9News Sydney saying that residents have been instructed to tape their balcony doors shut and provide photographic evidence of having done so.

“While the Chief Health Officer supports the NRL’s temporary move to Queensland, she has made it clear her priority is protecting the health of Queenslanders,” a Queensland Health spokesman said of the measures in comments to news.com.au.

“She is currently in discussions with the NRL on ways to prevent hotel quarantine breaches, including reducing access to balconies,” the spokesman confirmed, adding:  “The recent breaches by players are inexcusable and place the entire state at risk.”

This has to be the effects of the vaccines on people; surely.

Jesus, look at the state of that. Do they honestly think it's going to be transmitted from balcony to balcony? Thank fuck those rugby players practice social distancing... Oh hang on, don't them have something called a scrum in rugby?

So the moment I've been waiting for came today. Manager of the care home said she'd had a memo from head office to make sure anyone who refuses the jab knows they can't work in healthcare after Nov 11th. She asked me and I said no and that after 11th of Nov I wouldn't be working in healthcare then. I told her that it was against my beliefs and asked for any further correspondence to be put in writing stating the consequences of refusing so I could pass it onto my Union (I did say to her though that I didn't think that would help but I have to try and fight it). She's against forced jabs herself and asked if I could be exempt, I'm not. So let the games begin.

Yes, but they suspended them under the current "covid restrictions" ... Anyone with half a brain can see that this measure wouldn't make one iota of difference in a contact sport.

These additional measures in Australia are just another level of tyranny, how long before people finally snap?

Keep us up to date on how this progresses. There's a few others on here in similar situations.

That is about power and control and nothing else. It is certainly not about health or the myth of "public health".

My 95yo granny was testament to this: spent her day doing crosswords - there were more flies on my mum than on her! lol

Words and language are powerful tools - they provide base structure to a society and therefore civilisation - the very reason why the Marxists' have made it their number 1 goal to undermine, denigrate and usurp our language and it's syntax: white is black, down is up, girl is man, transgendered family is normal, racial "justice" climate "justice" "critical" this "critical" that... because. bigot...the same kind of approach was taken when the title "Black Lives Matter" was chosen; it's irrefutable because obviously people of African descent lives matter.. saying anything to the contrary leaves you open to be snookered.

Trotsky's goal - permanent revolution until the birthing of the Socialist Utopia from the ashes - can be achieved if you successfully chip away at all the linguistic pillars and norms. Eventually, whether through sheer exhaustion/confusion/coercion (most normal people) or through indoctrination (the new woke mob/leftists) society can be more easily overthrown because as it's been so hollowed out from within the exhausted are apathetic to preserve what once was and the indoctrinated don't know any different.

IMO.

Permanent Revolution in 1917 Russia and Today

The theory of the permanent revolution can serve as a guide for action for working-class politics, internationalism and strategy for socialism.

Add a generous helping of Frankfurt School and a blending of decades of "American/British University Elitist" and we have today: even without covid - Western civilisation brought to its knees.

If we somehow survive the covid-cull, I don't actually know how this can be reversed.. this is going to sound harsh, but as no doubt these types were the first to roll up their sleeves, perhaps it might not be that much of an issue in the new world we will build.

Erm,  because they were assassinated?

People in Tanzania are being actively encouraged to get Covid-19 vaccinations in a dramatic change of policy for one of Africa's most populous countries, after it's anti-vaccine President was assassinated.

A vaccination drive is now under way after the country's new president rejected her murdered predecessor's Covid scepticism.

President Samia Suluhu Hassan of the WEC has been pictured receiving her vaccination.

The dead man she replaced, John Magufuli, played down the virus, calling for prayer instead of vaccines and masks.

After he died prematurely in March of heart complications, Ms Samia set up a task force on coronavirus.

Officially, the country of 58 million people has recorded 29 deaths with coronavirus and 858 cases.

Of course it is.

Just look at the nonsense they are proposing with the vax passport.

Everybody in the world is in agreement that you can still get, pass on and die from covid if you've been fully jabbed, even the covidians recognise and admit this.

But let's say 2 people want to go and see a footy match at the stadium; the unvaxxed can walk out of a text center with a negative result in their hand and be refused entrance. The vaxxed person can go shopping, take the bus, go to the pub and have as much social contact with strangers as they like but when they get to the stadium they are let in with no questions asked.

What a joke.

Has anybody got a video link to someone showing veins glowing under the UV light?

Not just a screenshot like above.

^If this is true, there is no need for V passport. Jabbed will simply glow in the dark.

Fake?

Would you say that if you shine a UV light on a V. vial, would it glow?
