This response is from St Helens & Knowsley NHS regarding figures recorded at Whiston Hospital, which is a major facility between St Helens And Liverpool, in the north west UK. First point to note is that for the whole of 2020 we only have 56 deaths from covid without any co-morbidities. However once we get into January 2021, and we have had only 4 weeks of vaccine rollout, we get 22 deaths in 3 weeks of January. The studies from what I saw were based on folks (who wouldnt get poorly from it anyway) give then the shot then expose them to some pathogen... It always seemed iffy to me how they didn't give the folks who tested 'positive' a magic pass to say they were immune...
