Coronavirus Mega-Thread.

For context to my previous post (for those unfamiliar with the legendary 'Airplane!' movies) this is exactly what happens whenever someone 'does a press conference':

Despite his title of 'prime minister', Boris Johnson is NOT in charge and is NOT in control of anything.

Matt Hancock, the current Health Secretary, was a failed contender in the last Conservative Party leadership contest. He certainly thinks he has 'power' lately, with his own numerous press briefing appearances.

Jeremy Hunt was the previous Health Secretary for some time. Ever wondered despite years in the role, why he was suddenly 'reshuffled' last year?

The 'technocracy' is staring us all in the face now, and is blindingly obvious. The Government do not run this country. They are being told ("advised") what to do by people such as Chris Whitty and Patrick Vallance. Who are these people? Chief Medical Officer? Chief Scientific Advisor?

Whatever their fancy titles, they are 'unelected bureaucracts'. We cannot vote them in or out of their positions, they are 'appointed'.

But these are the people telling our Government what do do. Sorry, I meant "advising" them what to do.

They are being trusted implicitly. No-one dares to challenge or question them. Their 'advice' is taken as 'gospel'.

"We are EXPERTS therefore everything we say is TRUE".

Totally agree. I think the government at the moment are trying to get a citizen army ready to resist people who see through this rubbish. Grass on your neighbour, shout about the mask. The average person will do what their told whatever.

Yeah, eventually the media will paint this as kind of a civil war between "anti-vaxxers" and supposed sensible law abiding people, only the "anti-vaxxers" will be mostly just people who have lost their businesses and livelihoods.

I think their hope is to have health passport systems and widespread efficient tracking in place before things turn sour, so any trouble can be dealt with immediately and in the harshest way possible, much like in China. The only difficulty if that the majority of people have to say yes to this before its possible, and with increasing number pissed off and realising there's no real end to this in sight it's going to be really difficult for them.

Isle of wight, David is there already.

Claimed for the covid freedom movement!

Actually that would be  great, our own place, no boris  no whitty no hancock.

Pubs are open as late as they want, masks are outlawed.

Grow masses of our own food.

My thoughts exactly, just the whole truth community, maybe flat earthers, we'll have to have a vote on that one and sod em. They can do what they want with the rest of em, just leave us to it. They can stick their vaccines, AI, capitalistic and materialistic bull crap and we live happily ever after.

It would be so sweet.

I read that the way to defeat hierarchy from arising is to keep communities under 500 people.

So build small communities in each area, then nobody can start saying "I am the king here." cuts all that stuff dead.

Each small community helps the other ones, but remains loosely autonomous.

"We need your dentist and our plumber is already on his way to you."

What a life we could have and what a life the young could have on their own island.

That is very weird...at least it tells the truth about being a 'nasty cold'.

The nasty cold quote seems out of context and was added later?

Here is a new measure that has just been announced:

Quote

Covid: Pubs and restaurants in England to have 10pm closing times

Even the BBC immediately notes:

Quote

People are understandably asking what difference closing at 22:00 makes.

Yes, because it's going to make fuck all difference, apart from being an onerous and unnecessary imposition on people's lives and liberty.

A group of proper experts - including Professor Sunetra Gupta, Professor Carl Heneghan and Professor Sucharit Bhakdi - have today submitted an open letter to Boris Johnson, Chris Whitty and Patrick Valance et al setting out concerns about current policy and asking for reconsideration of the path forward. The letter has 4 authors and 28 signatories.

Is that the best quality you can find of the letter?  Can hardly read it.

The government's have been ignoring the facts and evidence from the start, instead relying on a select few "experts" who all have links to the vaccine industry. This is clear corruption and an absolute scandal.

I have had enough of this bollocks and I am fuming.

As the government continues to roll out arbritray restrictions to our liberties, daily, to help the NHS, flatten the curve, ease the peak, protect granny, prevent cases, save lives, yada yada., still the infection rate keeps rising, according to Tweedledum and Tweedledee the “science” advisors.

Therefore, if social-distancing isn't working, or masks, or house-arrest and a blanket ban on all social activity, what difference is a 10:00 pm curfew going to make? Well, it's going to give the police the opportunity to “crack down hard” and flex their brand new powers of control. Taser's ready!

But its all the fault of the young ones having irresponsible house parties don't you know. How dare they not want to spend their youth in splendid self-isolation lest they contract asymptomatic Rona and instantly kill all their grannies.

Nice. At least it's not C:V on the mug EW. Just a bit of code. Still a bit odd with the 'nasty cold'... Surely it is modelled on Gates.. Maybe it's South Park Gates..
