We've had 3 people go off with a bit of a sniffle to get Covid tests that showed as positive in the last couple of days at work, and one who went home to self-isolate, just in case. It"s resulted in the factory being short staffed, and a few people panicking again. A colleague came telling me that we should be shut down because of this 'outbreak'. It's disappointing because that's a person who I have taken pains to explain the deception to when she's said similar things in the past. Rightly or wrongly, I told her to go ahead and report it to the authorities (which she was proclaiming to be a good course of action) if she wants us all to end up with no income when the company goes bust. It goes against the grain to employ government style fear tactics to illicit a desired reaction, but it's the only thing that penetrates with some people, and it happens to be true anyway.
