Specialist Crime Division (SCD) Major Crime, Major Incident Support and Co-ordination Unit (MISCU), have an initial request for 4 x Disaster Victim Identification Shelters, to resource business as usual DVI deployments in the event of a Mass Fatality incident. These require to be delivered to the following address: 433 Helen Street Glasgow G51 3HH Any Shelter offered must be capable of meeting the following specification details: Overview: Large sized rapid deployment shelters in a highly portable and light-weight package, to feature multiple entry/exit points with side mesh windows and cover flaps. The shelters must be suitable for all mobile shelter needs. Required Features: ⦁ Articulating internal frame with locking straps allows high speed deployment with high system integrity ⦁ Highly corrosion resistant construction grade aluminium frame with alochrome treatment and polyester powder coated tubes ⦁ Highly flexible, tear resistant, UV stabilized and fire retardant fabric, available in a choice of colours ⦁ Windows provide warm-weather, ventilation and ambient lighting ⦁ To include 1 x Anchor Kit, 1 x Repair Kit and 3 x Shelter Rising Poles Additional shelters may be purchased over the period of the contract, up to a value of £115,000.
