They do need data from a control group. I'm sure down the road there will be some 'scandal' about how some people didnt get the proper satan juice , and they'll blame it on 'scientific rigour' etc. Same goes with the 'clotting' stories that got drip fed. TPB need 'tests' to see how well their 'programming' is working (like the stress tests they do with banks). I work with data quite a bit, and when you create models you 'tweak' variables to see how robust the model is. The clot stories had all the hallmarks of them testing how good their efforts were on the plebs.
