If D.I is right, and I am sure he is, this has been a long time in the planning, therefore they will have taken into account the people who will fight back against them and how to deal with them. We are fighting an unknown and unseen enemy. It will take a massive awakening from many more people and I can't see that happening, or some one who has been instrumental in bringing this about to have their conscience awakened then have the balls to blow a very loud whistle or some sort of divine intervention.
