My mother is 80 and has had both jabs. I've tried to dissuade her, but because she once told me this talk frightens her and she can't think about it, I agreed not to try to tell her any more. I feel you Tinfoil I really do. My grandparents are the same age as your dear mum. If they decide to stop talking to me then it will be very painful but I'm not bottling the jab no way. What really gets on my tits are my grandparents younger relatives in their fifties. Her nieces are following the rules to a T. I won't go to family events anymore with these people. In my mind they are perpetuating the fear for my grandparents. My other nan who is a bit older hasn't spoke to me for nearly a year now because she asked me on the phone early on what I thought about the lockdown and I had the audacity to try and downplay it merely to try and settle her mind. I was only calling her to see if she needed some shopping. That talk does unfortunately frighten them. I think they have lived their lives up until now and don't want to think of their "own" government doing this. I'm quite proud of myself keeping my patience and walking away whenever the topic of Rona comes up. They know my thoughts. If they were 10 to 15 years younger I'd have probably gone off at them. It is what it is. As you say Tinfoil we now need to brace ourselves for the upcoming war on the unvaccinated heretics. Keep strong hope you resolve it with your mum. I'd clap & bang pans on my doorstep go The Bernician's courage and tenacity. The only bad news (from a personal perspective) is that the one and only time I succumbed to having the annual flu jab - mithered into it by my mother by the way- was 2019, which he's confirming contained a lethal ingredient that's also in the Covid jabs. I already suspected that's what's at the back of my deterioration in health ever since! Hey ho, though. We all die some time, and if I'm on my way out anyway, I've nothing to lose by at least being highly vocal.

zArk
just to follow up on the lancet article showing the immense bullshit claims of vaccine 95% efficacy and balancing the claims with the ARR which has Pfitzer at a realistic 0.84% and Astra 1.3% heres the paper highlighting the importance of ARR (absolute risk reduction) rather than the RRR (relative risk reduction) https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanmic/article/PIIS2666-5247(21)00069-0/fulltext Quote There are many lessons to learn from the way studies are conducted and results are presented. With the use of only RRRs, and omitting ARRs, reporting bias is introduced, which affects the interpretation of vaccine efficacy. 10 When communicating about vaccine efficacy, especially for public health decisions such as choosing the type of vaccines to purchase and deploy, having a full picture of what the data actually show is important, and ensuring comparisons are based on the combined evidence that puts vaccine trial results in context and not just looking at one summary measure, is also important. Such decisions should be properly informed by detailed understanding of study results, requiring access to full datasets and independent scrutiny and analyses. if you want to know about ARR, RRR and NNT check out this little explanation https://www.tldrpharmacy.com/content/absolute-risk-reduction

Wasn't even justified to begin with. People racing home before the 8:30 pm curfew. Merchants losing hoardes of potential customers that would normally order stuff until 3:00 am. For no good reason. And now we are plagued by a fully functional lockdown/curfew system they can roll out on a moment's notice provided they have a dreamy narrative for the slumbering masses. I reflect on how it feels inside to hear news of the curfew ending and I resist to be suckered into another promise from compulsive liars. I can also imagine the relief felt by many oblivious to the fact its far from over. These next broken promises will devastate them and they may even develop homicidal hatreds of those they perceive are the cause or more likely the culprits the media will point out to them. For now let them bask in the paradise lost.
Velma
THREE people have died in Scotland from adverse side-effects of coronavirus according to the latest official statistics from the National Records of Scotland (NRS). The figures show the underlying cause of three deaths has been adverse effects of Covid-19 vaccines. Meanwhile, the latest figures from the NRS show there were six fatalities where coronavirus was recorded as an underlying cause between May 10 and May 16, a drop of one on the previous week. The data also shows that post-coronavirus conditions, including long Covid, were mentioned on 11 death certificates in the period from March 2020 to April 2021. So, that’s an average of one death every day from vaccines in Scotland; 16 in May alone and if you add the 11 whose deaths were recorded as ‘Long-Covid’ the previous month, but probably vaccine-related, these unnecessary deaths start to mount up and the statistics don’t even include severe disability or injuries. North Lanarkshire recorded three of the deaths, Glasgow saw two, and Perth and Kinross recorded one. This means deaths occurred in three of Scotland’s 32 counties, but Pete Whitehouse, NRS director of statistical services, said: “Last week there were no registered Covid-19 deaths in 29 of Scotland’s 32 council areas.” All the recent deaths have been from murder by vaxx. 3

Avoiceinthecrowd
Ran a few errands at the big box hardware store in the nearest town and they were busy as hell. Essential sales only restrictions had been lifted the day before. Those clerks were flying back and forth tending to the volume of clients requiring non essential stuff. They appeared to be in a state of shock. Weeks upon weeks of empty aisles and cordonned off shelves. From ghost store to full capacity overnight. A sight to behold. More clerks than I have seen in months yet non available for a question. Our masters are giving us a little window to peer into what once was. Still masks everywhere and the sanitizer dispensers still standing guard by the door.
