CyprusAvenue Posted August 25, 2020 Share Posted August 25, 2020 I noticed over the weekend an Irish newspaper reporting that Van Morrison had spoke of "pseudo-science" and that "we need to be playing to full capacity audiences". He called on fellow singers, musicians and others in the industry to "come forward, stand up, fight the pseudo-science and speak up". This morning in the Guardian was a similar story that was open for comments. Just checked and all the comments (many hundreds) had disappeared. He's getting flack on his Facebook page too. Theres no way a lot of the far left sjw types would be happy with some of the stuff he said. Some of his stuff was okay, a bit too abrasive for me. Although i am starting prefer the aggressive approach. It would be good to see what he would say about covid. I'm betting he would be against it. Along with christopher hitchens, roger scrutin, i could go on and on but there are ao many dead people we are missing in this whole mess. I don't want to derail this thread, but maybe I will do a write up on the guy sometime. I understand many here like him so I don't want to piss people off. It's a not so subtle 'nudge the public to wear a mask, download the app and take the vaccine' type of affair. In the ad break there is a commercial for an app called What3words. So basically, every 3 metre square on Earth has been assigned a unique 3 word code. Eg.. offstage.dips.trails. You can download the app and if you ever get into trouble kayaking or skiing or whatever, you tell the app to send a message to the emergency services.
