This topic is for all general discussion regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are of course numerous other related topics for discussing specific aspects of this pandemic in more detail. And there are other parts of this forum for more 'off-topic' discussions.

I got a letter today from the social insurance here in Austria. I am a high risk person and thy choose me to get a vaccine. I am in Group 2, so I am the next group in line. Sadly I have a problem in my right shoulder, so I can't raise my arm. You know what I mean.

It sure is on cue.

However, the current Number Two aka Boris Johnson says it's the lockdown on the most part that has done the business in getting cases, hospital admissions & deaths down and not the vaccine.

13/4/21

The Prime Minister has said that the fall in Covid-19 cases is not due to the vaccine roll-out programme but it is mainly down to the country’s national lockdown.

Although Boris Johnson said it was “great” that the country has managed to achieve its target of getting everyone in the top nine priority groups vaccinated by April 15, he warned Britons to still be cautious.

Mr Johnson said that, although the numbers of infections, hospital admissions and deaths are down, the reduction “has not been achieved by the vaccination programme” but rather the lockdown.

I thought the main reason was drop in a number of people willing to take the vaccine... 🤔

Right. Let's take health advice from Bob Geldof. How about a bit of marriage guidance and Bob's class on parenting skills too?

What guidance would that be? How to get smacked up?

40% Of Marines Refuse COVID-19 Vaccine

According to the data, approximately 75,500 marines have been vaccinated, while 48,000 have declined. The overall acceptance rate is 61.1%. The figures include active-duty, reserves, and the Individual Mobilization Augmentee Marines, according to the CNN report.

The rate of declined vaccines was as high as 57% at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.

Due to the vaccine's emergency use authorization by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the military can't force service members to get vaccinated.

Definitely a bad sign !

But Only good in safe areas .... the bad boys would soon deal with that , throw a blanket over it soaked in petrol

The NYPD's robot dog is once again stirring privacy concerns and cyberpunk prophesies of some New Yorkers, after the four-legged machine was spotted inside of a Manhattan public housing complex on Monday.

A video shared on Twitter shows the robot trotting out of a building on East 28th Street in front of two NYPD officers, then slowly descending the stairs as bystanders look on in shock. "I've never seen nothing like this before in my life," one woman can be heard saying.

The remote-controlled bot was made by Boston Dynamics, a robotics company famous for its viral videos of machines dancing and running with human-like dexterity. (Versions of "Spot," as the mechanical dog is known, can open doors, and are strong enough to help tow an 18-wheeler.)

Since October, the NYPD has dispatched the robot to a handful of crime scenes and hostage situations, raising fears of unwanted surveillance and questions about the department's use of public dollars. The mobile dog, which comes equipped with automated sensors, lights, and cameras capable of collecting "limitless data," is sold at a starting price of $74,000

I love robots... ;) So... I had many robo-dogs - all broke falling of the stairs or broke hitting the wall... I'm sure this is better... Probably could be just switched off with TV pilot ;P

Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl released a surprise single Tuesday that satirizes the coronavirus-related lockdowns and paints an optimistic view of a post-pandemic world.

“I wanted to share this song that I wrote about coming out of lockdown, with some much needed optimism - thank you to Dave Grohl @foofighters for jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with you on this-hope you all enjoy Eazy Sleazy!” Mr. Jagger tweeted to his 2.2 million followers.

the lyrics they quote-

“We escaped from the prison walls/Open the windows and open the doors/But it’s easy easy/Everything’s gonna get really freaky/All right on the night/It’s gonna be a garden of earthly delights.”

“Shooting the vaccine/Bill Gates is in my bloodstream/It’s mind control/The earth is flat and cold/It’s never warming up/The Arctic’s turned to slush/The Second Coming’s late/There’s aliens in the Deep State.”

I'm more familiar with this panel (below) of The Garden of Earthly Delights (Hell). So thought Jagger was perhaps alluding to vaccine injuries/dystopian post-vaxx world. (I'd actually forgotten it was part of a triptych)  this will be more likely than the 'paradise' Jagger and the rest are promising-

I've just listened to that single from Mick ... I can't fault it...It could be seen as a truther song ....

"Bill Gates is in my bloodstream ....It’s mind control....There’s aliens in the Deep State.”

I did know Mick's brother Chris , when I lived in Glastonbury(1999-2004) , he lives there with wife Carry-Ann , who teaches yoga ... In their home they had a picture of the Queen on the wall , when I saw it I said "Oh my god ... don't you know she's an evil shape shifting rep?" ...

They knew of my beliefs , and that I left UK because I said the NWO were about to release a plague. I told Carry-Ann never to take a vaccine .

I haven't kept in touch , but this prediction coming true must have shaken them , perhaps it caused them to look into things , and the word got through to Mick ..

I don't think that song from Mick could have been more explicit without being banned or have the NWO hit him ... the repeating line is "It's gonna get crazy"

I doubt it but you could be right to me it seems more anti truth.

Plus Dave Grohl is a complete establishment goon. Hangs out with that cuck corden. He has a terrible band known mainly for being a drummer for an overrated drug addicted moron.

Was talking with my neighbour yesterday, the one who's been jibber-jabbered, and the point of 'Death by any cause' came up. He wouldn't believe me they are counting deaths by covid in this manner. I suggested looking at the 6 o'clock news on BBC's iplayer. I've looked and here it is... I will show him this later...

i have spoke to a few like this and the mental gymnastics i witnessed would beat Nadia Comaneci

The song is not bad at all!  A piss take out of us?  Not a very good one is it ?That ''Bill Gates in my bloodstream'' line is very good.  I wonder if the true intention was to try to get truth out there, but sell it as a anti-conspiracy song.

Just the line "There's aliens in Deep State "

As DI said , this is the Biggest Secret ... He dedicated a book to this Secret.

As I've come to understand, he lyrics are mocking "conspiracy theorists", not supporting their views.

I've been a fan of The Rolling Stones music since I was a wee kitten. In particular, the late Sixties, through the Seventies, and the Mick Taylor years. I don't pay much attention to anything from them since. Dave Groan and his Foo Fighters have always been just another corporate "rock band". As usual, it's basically Mick being an asshole. Even Keith, who loves Mick like a brother, admits Mick is an asshole, a lot of the time.

Keith Richards is the true barometer to know when we are REALLY [email protected]&ked.

When you see this guy sporting a face mask and promoting vaccines, you know the end is near!

“Shooting the vaccine/Bill Gates is in my bloodstream/It’s mind control,” Jagger sings on the track in a verse he calls “a piss-take on conspiracy theories.” “The Earth is flat and cold/It’s never warming up/The arctics turned to slush/The second coming’s late/There’s aliens in the deep state.” Elsewhere, though, the Rolling Stones frontman exudes optimism for another Roaring Twenties. “Everything’s gonna get really freaky,” Jagger sings. “It’s gonna be a garden of earthly delights.”
