Unless ol' bill can stop Volcano's from unleashing their load or/and stopping the sun varying it's output, this is just doomed to failure (on purpose no doubt). In fact chuck some man-made particles in the air, then have an unexpected mega volcano blast and you are basically heading to a swift ice age (those volcano's pump out so much Co2 and particles it makes humans look like small fry) Reminds me of article I once read (can't remember where), but it blamed 'clean carbon' for the rise in temps. Old dirty carbon burning, sent particles in the air which absorbed and deflected solar rays. But clean burning, gave you the greenhouse effect of C02 without the mitigating 'soot' particles, so amplifying warming. A simple experiment proves this. Pump one greenhouse with smokey CO2, and one with just the CO2 (without the smoke particles), with the same solar source.
