Another night of insomnia. Seems to be the New Normal. Feels we are at the end of the beginning of fascism, as opposed to the beginning of the end of a pandemic. Physically the anxiety & uncertainty has taken its toll. I would have sought happy pills from a Dr before now. Not now...................

London will be close to a 100 degrees later today. I can’t imagine there won’t be casualties on the London Underground. Imagine the central line at this evenings rush hour, crammed in like sardines , muzzled commuters and tourists gasping for air.
I would say going by their own list of government exemptions , everyone has the right (yes, I know they have the right anyway ..) to stick two fingers up and remove the mask as they unequivocally can and will cause distress to the mask wearer.
Hopefully many more today will have an epiphany.

So new infections are 'at worrying levels' in the north of the UK, leading to half of it being put back into lockdown, yet you can count on one hand the number of people who have died from the 'deadly virus' in the last few days (and probably longer). One of those statements is incompatible with the other.

Lots of odd comments in this Bojo conference. "We've about reached the limit of how much we can open up as a country" "Opening some things may come with a trade-off of closing others".

Sounds like a permanent semi-lockdown to me. Think the UK is going to be last on my list of places to live in the next few years

Hello everyone. I need your biggest help (in words but still). I'm from Russia, a student. Today I got a message from ministry of education discussion about new year's form of education. Except for mask obligatory one point gave me a shook. It is a MANDATORY VACCINATION OF STUDENTS.

Even though I try not to panic, not to be afraid because I will resist them and say no anyway, part of me do all that things and it doesn't stop. What if they force me to do it? What if they expel me for not obeying (I once dropped the uni, don't want to do that again)?

What should I do? What should I say to them? What arguments are the most convincing? Obviously I don't want to be vaccinated. Sorry for panic I'm just lost a bit.

Seeing as no-one in authority has any credibility left it's hard to see how they'll manage to get a mandatory vaccine over the line . . . unless the manufactured second wave affects children significantly. Bank on it.
