This topic is for all general discussion regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are of course numerous other related topics for discussing specific aspects of this pandemic in more detail. And there are other parts of this forum for more 'off-topic' discussions.

People sat at home in front of the TV waiting to be told what everyone else is thinking and doing but everyone else is also sat at home in  front of the TV waiting to be told the same thing.

The power of having a locked down captive audience to bombard with psychologically destructive propaganda. A totalitarian wet dream

I haven't watched the actual TV for over 10 years. Maybe 15 actually. The only time I ever see TV briefly is when I walk past or whatever while someone else it watching, or there is a public screen. So a few seconds at the most. It's unbelievable to talk to people who watch TV every day of their lives. It's like interacting with an alien species. Seriously, these people that can only repeat back to me what they hear on 'the news' - I would have more in common with some random animal or a jungle or something.

I just love how much it must upset them that so many people aren't obeying their face nappy control freakery. I enjoy knowing it gives them sleepless nights.

I hope the ones who didn't wear one yesterday carry it through when they go shopping and etc. Not just slip back into conformity.

Should the worthies at the WHO be told that the drugs they suggest be injected into millions of people are not infact vaccines?

Anyone with old dictionaries should record the traditional definition of 'vaccine' and compare this current shit to that.

Do they realise that keeping a filthy mask in their pockets and handling it with contaminated hands defeats the whole purpose? The whole thing is so ridiculous.

You can't reason with them. Their whole reality is a TV screen, celebrities and screen reader talking heads.

I've found it the same. Like speaking to a BBC echo machine. Weirdly, even some of those who are normally anti-establishment will talk about the need to fight against certain legislative aspects of what's happening but stay firmly fixed on the overarching need for everyone to be injected with these gene-altering drugs. Trying to explain the differences between traditional attenuated virus-based vaccines and untested messenger RNA prophylaxis treatments, and the potential implications on health from their use, is met with hostile wilful ignorance. Trying to explain that there's a much bigger picture is met with ridicule.

I'm stunned by the apparent success of the psychological attack on people's perceptions of the world.

Pre-covid, I had maybe 60% faith left in humanity. Now I have more like 3%... and that's on my most optimistic days. On my negative days, it's more like 0.7%.

Absolutely.

Even after a year of being fed shit, some ask for more.

I think the psychological damage was done in the first few weeks of March/April 2020. The intensity of the propaganda and lockdown was extreme and there was literally no one anywhere in the media giving a counter narrative.

From the off, I called bullshit on it, educated my family and talked over the news to highlight the spin and manipulation techniques being used and thankfully all my family saw through the MSM very easily. For those who weren't exposed to any kind of counter-narrative early on, there's now a huge confirmation/choice-supportive bias to overcome.

It's easier to fool someone than to convince them they've been fooled.

This what brainwashing looks like. It seems so complete in many people that they will believe it when told that those who refuse to be guinea pigs for big pharma's experimental drugs are the cause of any increase in deaths consequent if the injections. The pitchforks will be out for us

Our valuable energies and knowledge is wasted on these brain dead morons. They are gone. It's better to focus on people who still have a reasonable chance to wake up, with the right info. On the other hand, preaching to the choir can also be a waste of valuable energy. So there needs to be a middle ground.

Its good so many showed up yesterday,  they could do with an objective now like Velma says block houses of parliament, or block a motorway?

Use the tactics of other  groups like extinction rebellion instead of just walking around.

That's the crossroads right now. Will protesters just turn up for the theatre, then just go home and continue on following the rules, or will people actually do something?

My guess is they will not actually do anything until they literally lose everything. Then they will do something because when you have nothing to lose it's easy.

”It's easier to fool someone than to convince them they've been fooled" is a very accurate insight. There will be a correlation between what's happening now and trying to undo the psychological damage inflicted upon Germans by Nazism post WW2

I'm yet to meet a person in real life who has a single shred of scientific evidence that they or anyone they know has this so called virus. No one. And they still believe in 'the virus'.

"We didn't mask at the protest, but slip it on quick before we enter tescoburys."

Impressive  turnout though, all said and done.

I was half expecting the usual 200 show up then being assaulted and  abducted by the cops.

I know people around me who when asked about their take on this plandemic say "such and such a person died from covid therefore everyone should be injected". They have taken the experience of one person and extrapolated it onto the entire population. Exactly what the BBC does in its reporting. Try to point it out and hostility ensues

But when you ask them about what tests prove this person they know that supposedly 'died of covid', they have absolutely no evidence. Just the word of someone else.

Remind me not to look at twitter. Any hope that people are getting wise to the scam is pretty much extinguished within 10 seconds.

I do everything I can not to look at any comments there. God help us.
