Coronavirus Mega-Thread.

Message added by Grumpy Owl,

This topic is for all general discussion regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are of course numerous other related topics for discussing specific aspects of this pandemic in more detail. And there are other parts of this forum for more 'off-topic' discussions.

No!!!! nothing grammatical at all - (even if it was, I'm not one of those childish, petulant people) they did KNOW the fine art of humour...I was trying to be clever by changing it to past-tense.🤓

I know. Wasn't grammatical. Stupid way for me to put it, my error. Yes knew exactly what you meant- and you're exactly right. Woke has now taken over everything. Even if you were a comedian or writer these days with a genuinely funny old school idea, you'd never ever be allowed to get on the air with it. We're screwed.

Im sure you're right but to see that level of primal fear being set off conpletely by the tv rather than a visceral response to an immediate threat in your environment is scary.

So true, there's more than just the words and pictures (both seen and subliminal) emanating from that box.. all kinds of frequencies are being blasted into the third eye and deep recesses of the human psyche - below is from material channelled in 1990 - One can only imagine the insidiousness and power of the nefarious "tv" technologies in todays 'flat screened, plasma" devices

I'm assuming this is genuine, I know schools are doing similar things and also persecuting non mask-wearers.

Kids have it the worst - they usually have others making decisions for them. Most parents don't seem aware the mask and lockdown 'rules' are mostly voluntary, but the mass media help convince them it's all compulsory.

When I was growing up, teachers and parents told us don't worry about dirt and germs too much. It's good practice for our immune systems.

Jesus, how things have changed.

That's right very scant evidence they have any benefit. I heard one study found cloth masks only block around 3% of exhaled gases.

It's all bullshit. They know it. We know it. The battle is not between us and them; we are fighting for the minds of the poor sheep in the middle.

Yeah, but it's hard to get through to the normies. A lot of them are snowflakes with very short attention spans. But I think certain memes and graphics could get through to people, if they were printed out as leaflets and mailed or stuck on walls. Protests don't do much and social media is mostly too corrupt/censored.

Imagine all these kids sanitizing their hands 45 times a day and never breathing actual proper air and being locked iside plastic bubbles (literally). They're so screwed... for life.

I've virtually given up even talking to anyone whose whole reality is whatever mainstream media tells them. It's a complete waste of air. I will only offer information to someone new, if they request it or I overhear a conversation with someone who seems like the might be receptive to further research info. Other than that, the general masses are too far gone to save.

Is NZ 'bitter' (<-my attempt on NZ accent) than OZ??

Personally, I prefer Aussie; the people, they're hot and I love the 'fair-dinkum' attitude (NZers dont have that, too many small-poppys), the weather, the opportunities [past], the income level I could be on, the shopping... although if I had a family I would prefer to raise them in NZ and Im always grateful I can return here ..although, I believe one can be "safe" anywhere if you have that belief system, NZ is one of the so-called "safest" places on the planet right now - and I'm not meaning strictly in 'covid' terms...Im not afraid of any virus even if it was real...I have an old fashioned belief in the divinity of our immune system.

That's what I just don't understand how people can say with a straight face that mRNA can't or doesn't!  They are intimately interconnected [like all aspects of our biology] and are constantly interacting and 'talking' to each other so there has to be an altering at some point.....whether that 'altering' will go on to change the persons actual genome and be passed on via sperm/egg to the next generation [if they can still produce a viable one] I can't ultimately find any literature that definitively says it can/would, but Im no expert but I sure am highly distrustful of the intent behind these new "vaccines"...

disclaimer: I trust wiki as much as the intent above :)

Early exposure to germs has lasting benefits

Findings help to explain how microbes programme a developing immune system

FYI: @BossCrow

You're right. Children should be outside, not using computers all day. In some scandinavian countries kids start school around 7 yrs old. I remember watching this video about Denmark's Forest Kindergartens a few years ago. The Danish govt have presumably banned this by now.
