The phone will record keystrokes and harvest video and sound to a temp cache memory when the phone is not transmitting but will forward harvested info when phone goes live. However, someone on this forum a liitle while ago did speak about a Pine Phone that was coming out which had physical kill switches, I wonder if such a phone is now available? Otherwise could a standard smartphone be retro fitted with kill switches, for example, for the antenna, battery, GPS, Bluetooth, speaker and microphone? Your kill switch may be to shut power off main battery only You could easily make a holster with few layers of aluminium inside it with a soft protective inner layer so it dontget scratched by the alu foil.
