Message added by Grumpy Owl,

This topic is for all general discussion regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. There are of course numerous other related topics for discussing specific aspects of this pandemic in more detail. And there are other parts of this forum for more 'off-topic' discussions.

Finally, after a year of submission and compliance to tyranny, cowed by “the cold”, (lol) the Scots have found their ‘Braveheart’ spirit in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.

In a spontaneous outburst of civil disobedience, Rangers’ supporters said “fuck covid” because there are more important things in life, like winning the league for the first time in ten, long, years.

Naturally, wee Nicky is “furious and disgusted” by this flagrant demonstration of pure joy. At least Celtic fans can be glad it’s their old rivals who are all going to die now, of “coronavirus.”

This jubilation was not confined to Glasgow. Other local towns poured onto their dead High Streets to celebrate Rangers’ victory. I guess people just feel the need, to break free….

A secondary school child states quite matter-of-factly on mask wearing at school:

"But, if we've got to do it then we've got to do it - it's the guidelines so we've got to just abide by it."

^^ And THAT'S the mentality that's underpinning the sheeple's compliance. It's unbearable to see this woke shite being pumped out day after day.

Firstly nobody "has to do it" but the majority believe they do.

Secondly this is yet another piece of egregious propaganda from MSM.

Thirdly the same article says this (showing that it's actually all optional):

"They are reporting high levels of take-up of Covid tests and compliance with new rules on wearing masks in secondary school classrooms."

FFS! 🙄

The Gatesdian complains that the black, young and poor  are 'vaccine hesitant'

This must be very frustrating as I would imagine that these are precisely the categories that any self-respecting billionaire globalist would like to be rid off.

'Vaccine hesitancy' is a good one, making a eminently sensible attitude seem like a psychological condition.

Doctor, I'm hesitant to lie down under a steamroller is there something wrong with me?

Having looked through the ONS survey results and the graphs presented, I do find it interesting to see which sectors of society are apparently vaccine hesitant.

The vaccine hesitant are more likely to be from deprived and marginalised populations, whereas the better off are more likely to take the vaccine. I have for some time had a theory that, generally, the more comfortable a person's life is, the less likely they are to doubt the authorities and subscribe to alternative views and "conspiracy theories". Basically they haven't been shit upon as much so have less reason to distrust those in power.

In amongst that though are also apparent genuine concerns from younger people who face lower risk from the "virus" and women of childbearing age who may have concerns over fertility.

Here are some of the graphs:

I remarked to a co-worker that I was glad the schools are going back and he said, "it's too soon."

Someone else told me that Care Homes can start receiving one visitor from Monday and he thinks "it's too soon."

Is that the new mantra? It's TOO SOON!

What's wrong with these proles?

I share this theory, although I approach from a slightly different angle.

One of my former pals was OBSESSED with remaining in the EU because in his mind it would've massively affected his comfortable middle class lifestyle if Brexit happened.

He couldn't understand why I voted leave, until I explained that in my working class world it was against my financial interests to be in the EU. He said "oh yeh I hadn't seen it from your perspective" (but still voted remain of course).

I believe it's the same with the scamdemic. The richer one is the less they're affected by lockdowns and the less they've been affected by the obvious class war being waged on the poor.

Today Bombadil has killed 20 pensioners, but if he stays at home tomorrow he will have saved 20 pensioners, so it's all OK in the end. 😄

You know, I think we are in for an opporunity since the school has reopened.

Plenty of oppportunity to hand out a leaflet/newspaper regarding the fake PCR at a school gate while bored smartphone browsing parents are waiting to pick up their kid. e.g. The UK gov info which states repeated PCR testing is useless and its a waste of money.

If you spot a maskelss people, have a chat with them. They normally welcome seeing other maskless people.

Ask if they have been hassled when entering a shop and inform them about people who are taking action on discriminationatory basis. You never know, other face nappy wearer might start removing theirs once they start to hear about money they could receive. Money talks as they say.

Yeah, as someone said pages ago, I also think that the fakery of PCR test is what we need to hammer to break the dam.

Also not a bad idea to place some stickers around the perimeters of schools where students and/or parents congregate. For example, bus stops, walking crossings, stop signs posts, etc.

Cheers for that, I was unaware of that. The Dartmouth-Hitchcock incident sounds remarkably like a blueprint for Covid.

It really does.

Airlines will bankrupt if only the vaccinated fly around. Airlines can't afford the loss of revenue from the tsunami of potential customers that categorically refuse any jab. Of course you have those flyers that take malaria and other shots to travel but this ain't no malaria shot. The airlines are being told to fly only those that don't mind being labrats. Fraud and blackmail.

Holding family and relatives hostage until they agree to be a Guinea Pigs is obscene. Besides being immoral, unethical and so illegal.

Flying planes light is tricky and dangerous too.

Just noticed some news about vaccine passports for travel.
I should repeat this:
Some banks are insisting upon a passport for I.D. Not all but some do. Logic suggests some of us might be locked out of access to bank accounts. Not known what could happen if a visa card gets lost or invalidated. This happened to me years ago and I was told I'd need a passport to access my account.
I suspect the reality is there's no inbetween.
Best bet so far is to draw out all savings and buy gold sovereigns. I no longer trust banks. Just not sure yet how to draw out all my savings in safety. Guess we're looking at 8 months till people start to experience such restrictions.

Not surprising considering banks are at the top of the covid pyramid of deception. They will back down too when they realize how self destructive such policies are for them. People will not take denials of access to their money lightly.

For me this is serious enough to start a dedicated thread. Already here are people who are more clued up than I am.
We soon need to discuss how to do stuff like buy gold, silver or safe investments. That for some may include property. My brother just bought a mobile home which he feels is useful.
I won't tolerate even the suggestion passports could spread for bank account access. Not many people are aware no vaccine could possibly mean no passport. It may extend beyond just travel obstacles.
