None of which made any sense if the pandemic was real, such as admitting refugees from abroad while banning foreign travel. The many contradictions, like professionals playing football when children can’t, or people harassed for walking alone in parks, while the fox hunt continues, soon had casual observers scratching their head. It didn’t add up to a rapidly spreading contagion. Suddenly, ordinary folk were “conspiracy nuts” filming their local hospitals and challenging the death count. And if everyone who turns out to protest against this ‘tip-toe’ into tyranny, falls into that category, there are tens of thousands of us. The small, incremental steps to global totalitarianism have become large strides and will soon be a steady march of jackboots, unless we the people rise up and defy it. History has at least taught us that! They already have the surveillance infrastructure in place to control populations and detention centers for dissidents. It all sounds so familiar… Supposing, the lie was exposed and everyone realised Covid was a hoax, just the common ‘flu rebranded as a deadly disease. None of it happened, the NHS wasn’t overwhelmed, there was no curve to flatten, no peak to reach, no mass fatalities. No reason to lose your business or be made redundant. You missed schooling and exams, or got locked up in your campus at Xmas for nothing. You have been suffering a claustrophobic face-covering and standing in long queues needlessly. Your grandparents were neglected and your children psychologically damaged for something which wasn’t genuine. What would happen? Surely, we would finally rebel and the system would collapse.
