oddsnsods
I know what its like to run out of air at 30metres depth,,you panic & are ready to knock anyone out to get a breath & people are willing to give that up??!! Continuous restriction of air over time will lead to brain damage from carbon dioxide poisoning. Hypercapnia. I dont think driving a car with a mask is clever..will dull the senses. Forcing children or old people to restrict their breathing is madness. Dont care what any fact checker wank says. The WHO & even the BBC had stated you shouldnt jog or do heavy exercise with a mask on. Yet government is forcing workers to do just that. Strange how anyone will put up with this. Grounds for a good law suit.

I think at the depth you were, I think you have to de-oxyginate at 5 metres for 10 mins before coming up? I think that's right, I've not dived for a while. Clearly you're ok, but yeah, that would have been frightening.

You grab your buddies octopus quick if you are near them & try not to panic coz you will ascend to quick & risk getting the bends yes. Truthspoon
I didn't know you were a dive master Odds.... I've only been down to 18 metres with my open water qualification..... One time I was diving at Dahab on the Red-Sea..... then in the evening took the bus back to Cairo and climbing over the Sinai mountains had a fantastic bout of nitrogen narcosis..... nearly felt like I was tripping.... great buzz...... dangerous though. The MPs have no discretionary powers. They are instructed what to do. I have always considered an attaché's reply as coming from the person they speak on behalf of. If I were a judge in a genocide trial and the politician says he did not know well, because his agent acted on his behalf it is implied he knows or should know. To the gallows. Big pharma is running this show. They dictate the agenda as far as coven-19 and it's variants is concerned. This is how I see it from my perpective.

Red Sea is great but so many friggin Lion fish..... terrifying poisonous bastards. I don't miss them, or the spiny black aneomones. I'd love to go back to Dahab one day..... The whole area is supreme and there are many unspoilt coral reefs along the coast. Sharm Al Sheikh seems to get more tourist traffic but the reefs are wrecked. Nuweiba is probably the least spoilt but the tourism infrastructure is garbage. Edited February 16, 2021 by Truthspoon
Dotty
What is going on? As an animal lover I think this is disgraceful. The charity is making a good point about supermarkets being one of not many businesses making profits at the moment. By stopping the donation boxes they are really limiting the charities survival. Will they soon stop the donation boxes for the people who struggle financially ? It feels more and more real like we are the little Lego people in a Lego city in hands of spoiled brats who toss us right left and centre depending on their psycho imagination and desires. 1

Yes, I noticed plenty by our hotel boardwalk, not so much in the open waters. They may prefer shallower waters. I'd love to do the Galapagos or South Africa for a shark dive. Wow...I'm impressed....... that's very cool. A lot of people, particularly Russians, would come to Dahab to dive the 'blue hole' for some reason some of them think it's a good idea to do it drunk. Needless to say there are several deaths every year. Quote In the Gulf of Adaba, north of the Red Sea and located between Dahab, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, there’s a sinkhole almost 400 feet deep. Known as the Blue Hole, it’s one of the most beautiful diving places in the world… and one of the most dangerous. It’s not entirely clear how many have perished in its depths, but estimates put the number at over 200 across the years. As a direct result of this, local laws now prohibit unqualified divers from heading down into the depths of the Blue Hole. No matter how much you want to see it, safety comes first. Fortunately, it’s not that hard to meet the qualifications. If you’ve done serious diving anywhere else in the world, chances are you already meet the standards for diving here. I've dived with nurse sharks only, I'd like to cage dive with Whites. Yes, the reef sharks are small but Uber aggressive. They come to life more at night though were feeding frenzies are common. They're not afraid to come and explore either.

Avoiceinthecrowd
Bet this act was amended to accomodate the covid high treason. Because covid is international in scope would prosecutions have to be hosted by the International criminal tribunal in Hague? Do countries still have enough autonomy to prosecute locally? What a show if such a thing ever happened.

ally_uk
Guys what are predictions for rest of year regarding Covid agenda? Can you foresee more restrictions or lockdowns? Dahab, Sharm and Nuweiba are all along the Red Sea and the infrastructure was all built by the Israelis when they occupied Sinai for 15 odd years before they had to give it up in the Camp David peace accords. Sharm is a 5 star nightmare and Nuweiba's infrastructure has totally fallen into disrepair. Toilets for instance which have no water supply so they're just ceramic vases full of shit. The Bedouins really can't maintain it. Dahab has got it just right though. Probably a total ghost town now.... but as long as the beer is cold and the water is warm....... it's a good place to be. I recommend it. Fly to Sharm airport then just bus it down the coast. It's about an hour from the airport I think. Focusing on the digital id & cashless & maybe bail ins. Finishing off the economy. Best to get all your cash out & buy metals.
