Macnamara
Q-Is there historic precedent for western governments releasing pathogens on their own populations? A-YES there are many tests that have been carried out which have since been declassified Project 112 was a biological and chemical weapon experimentation project conducted by the United States Department of Defense from 1962 to 1973. Project 112 primarily concerned the use of aerosols to disseminate biological and chemical agents that could produce "controlled temporary incapacitation" (CTI). The test program would be conducted on a large scale at "extracontinental test sites" in the Central and South Pacific[2] and Alaska in conjunction with Britain, Canada and Australia. At least 50 trials were conducted; of these at least 18 tests involved simulants of biological agents (such as BG), and at least 14 involved chemical agents including sarin and VX, but also tear gas and other simulants.[1] Test sites included Porton Down (UK), Ralston (Canada) and at least 13 US warships; the shipborne trials were collectively known as Shipboard Hazard and Defense—SHAD.[1] The project was coordinated from Deseret Test Center, Utah. As of 2005 publicly available information on Project 112 remains incomplete.[1] Project 112 tests used the following agents and simulants: Francisella tularensis, Serratia marcescens, Escherichia coli, Bacillus globii, staphylococcal enterotoxin Type B, Puccinia graminis var. tritici (stem rust of wheat).[7] Agents and simulants were usually dispensed as aerosols using spraying devices or bomblets. In May 1965, vulnerability tests in the U.S. using the anthrax simulant Bacillus globigii were performed in the Washington D.C. area by SOD covert agents. One test was conducted at the Greyhound bus terminal and the other at the north terminal of the National Airport. In these tests the bacteria were released from spray generators hidden in specially built briefcases. SOD also conducted a series of tests in the New York City Subway system between 7 and 10 June 1966 by dropping light bulbs filled with Bacillus subtilis var. niger. In the latter tests, results indicated that a city-level epidemic would have occurred. Local police and transit authorities were not informed of these tests. Declassification The existence of Project 112 (along with the related Project SHAD) was categorically denied by the military until May 2000, when a CBS Evening News investigative report produced dramatic revelations about the tests. This report caused the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs to launch an extensive investigation of the experiments, and reveal to the affected personnel their exposure to toxins. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_112 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_112 Edited February 5, 2021 by Macnamara

Macnamara
The Dorset Biological Warfare Experiments were a series of experiments conducted between 1953 and 1975 to determine the extent to which a single ship or aircraft could dispense biological warfare agents over the United Kingdom. The tests between 1971–1975 were known as the DICE trials. The tests were conducted by scientists from Porton Down, initially using Zinc cadmium sulfide (ZnCds) as a simulated agent. Early results clearly showed that one aircraft flying along the coast while spraying its agent could contaminate a target over 100 miles away, over an area of 10,000 square miles. This method of Biological warfare attack and the test program to study it was known as the Large Area Coverage (LAC) concept. In the early 1960s, Porton Down was asked to expand the scope of their tests to determine if using a live bacteria instead of ZnCds would significantly alter the results. Scientists from Microbiological Research Establishment at Porton Down selected South Dorset as the site for this next phase of testing, with Bacillus subtilis (also known as Bacillus globigii or BG) selected as the test agent.[1][2] This bacteria was sprayed across South Dorset without the knowledge or consent of the inhabitants. Similar tests In Operation Sea-Spray, unsuspecting inhabitants of the San Francisco Bay Area were sprayed with Serratia marcescens and Bacillus globigii, pathogens that were then implicated in some unusual outbreaks of illness, including pneumonia, and urinary tract infections, and even some deaths. In Senate subcommittee hearings in 1977, the US Army revealed: Between 1949 and 1969 open-air tests of biological agents were conducted 239 times. In 80 of those experiments, the Army said it used live bacteria that its researchers at the time thought were harmless. In the others, it used inert chemicals to simulate bacteria. In the 1950s army researchers dispersed Serratia on Panama City and Key West Florida with no known illnesses resulting. In the 1950s army researchers dispersed zinc cadmium sulfide (now a known cancer-causing agent) over Minnesota and other Midwestern states to see how far they would spread in the atmosphere. The particles were detected more than 1,000 miles away in New York state. Bacillus globigii, never shown to be harmful to people, was released in San Francisco, New York, Washington, D.C., and along the Pennsylvania Turnpike, among other places. In New York, military researchers in 1966 spread Bacillus subtilis variant Niger, also believed to be harmless, in the subway system by dropping lightbulbs filled with the bacteria onto tracks in stations in midtown Manhattan. The bacteria were carried for miles throughout the subway system. Army officials concluded in a January 1968 report that: "Similar covert attacks with a pathogenic disease-causing agent during peak traffic periods could be expected to expose large numbers of people to infection and subsequent illness or death." In a May 1965 secret release of Bacillus globigii at Washington's National Airport and its Greyhound Lines bus terminal more than 130 passengers were exposed to the bacteria traveling to 39 cities in seven states in the two weeks following the mock attack.[3] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorset_Biological_Warfare_Experiments

Macnamara
The top secret military lab trying to find a coronavirus vaccine Porton Down is home to Public Health England and a number of scientific research and testing facilities By Ellie Kendall 06:00, 3 MAY 2020 Porton Down is a 'science park' located in Wiltshire, just northeast of the village of Porton, near Salisbury. Northwest of it lies the MOD Boscombe Down airfield operated by defence technology company QinetiQ, the world's 52nd largest defence contractor and sixth largest in the UK. Founded in 1916, Porton Down is home to the oldest chemical warfare research installation in the world and two British government facilities - a site of the Ministry of Defence's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) and a site of Public Health England, from whom we have been getting our daily coronavirus figures. In addition to this, Porton Down is also home to other private and commercial science organisations and is ever expanding to attract other companies. By 1938 they concentrated on offensive chemical warfare research and development and, during WWII, were focusing their research on chemical weapons like nitrogen mustard and later highly toxic organophosphorous nerve agents such as sarin. To examine biological weapons, a highly secret separate department, called the Biology Department, Porton (BDP) was established within the Chemical Defence Experimental Station in 1940, with its focus on anthrax and botulinum toxin and in 1942 it famously carried out tests of an anthrax bio-weapon at Gruinard Island. This department (later called the Microbiological Research Establishment/MRE) occasionally collaborated with the Common Cold Unit at Harvard Hospital, Harnham Down, on the west side of Salisbury. Porton Biopharma Limited Located on site in an area previously within Public Health England, Porton Biopharma Limited was established in 2015 to commercialise the pharmaceutical development and manufacturing capabilities at the Porton Down Site. According to its website, the company's mission is to: "Protect patients’ health through the quality-assured development and production of biopharmaceuticals. "We develop new vaccines, therapeutic proteins and enzyme products, and also manufacture our own licensed biopharmaceutical products, Erwinase® and the UK’s Anthrax Vaccine. "We offer specialist expertise in the development of both manufacturing and analytical processes for use with biological pharmaceutical products. "Particularly in taking concepts from the research laboratory and progressing them through the various stages of scale-up and process development to manufactured product at pilot scale." So, these could be the people developing a coronavirus vaccine from its research stage to testing, trialling, developing, manufacturing and getting it out to the public. https://www.somersetlive.co.uk/news/local-news/coronavirus-porton-down-secret-lab-4095101

synergetic67
"I seek to trace the novel features under which despotism may appear in the world. The first thing that strikes the observation is an innumerable multitude of men, all equal and alike, incessantly endeavoring to procure the petty and paltry pleasures with which they glut their lives. Each of them, living apart, is as a stranger to the fate of all the rest; his children and his private friends constitute to him the whole of mankind. As for the rest of his fellow citizens, he is close to them, but he does not see them; he touches them, but he does not feel them; he exists only in himself and for himself alone; and if his kindred still remain to him, he may be said at any rate to have lost his country. Above this race of men stands an immense and tutelary power, which takes upon itself alone to secure their gratifications and to watch over their fate. That power is absolute, minute, regular, provident, and mild. It would be like the authority of a parent if, like that authority, its object was to prepare men for manhood; but it seeks, on the contrary, to keep them in perpetual childhood: it is well content that the people should rejoice, provided they think of nothing but rejoicing. For their happiness such a government willingly labors, but it chooses to be the sole agent and the only arbiter of that happiness; it provides for their security, foresees and supplies their necessities, facilitates their pleasures, manages their principal concerns, directs their industry, regulates the descent of property, and subdivides their inheritances: what remains, but to spare them all the care of thinking and all the trouble of living? Thus it every day renders the exercise of the free agency of man less useful and less frequent; it circumscribes the will within a narrower range and gradually robs a man of all the uses of himself. The principle of equality has prepared men for these things; it has predisposed men to endure them and often to look on them as benefits. After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd. I have always thought that servitude of the regular, quiet, and gentle kind which I have just described might be combined more easily than is commonly believed with some of the outward forms of freedom, and that it might even establish itself under the wing of the sovereignty of the people. Our contemporaries are constantly excited by two conflicting passions: they want to be led, and they wish to remain free. As they cannot destroy either the one or the other of these contrary propensities, they strive to satisfy them both at once. They devise a sole, tutelary, and all-powerful form of government, but elected by the people. They combine the principle of centralization and that of popular sovereignty; this gives them a respite: they console themselves for being in tutelage by the reflection that they have chosen their own guardians. Every man allows himself to be put in leading-strings, because he sees that it is not a person or a class of persons, but the people at large who hold the end of his chain. By this system the people shake off their state of dependence just long enough to select their master and then relapse into it again. A great many persons at the present day are quite contented with this sort of compromise between administrative despotism and the sovereignty of the people; and they think they have done enough for the protection of individual freedom when they have surrendered it to the power of the nation at large. This does not satisfy me: the nature of him I am to obey signifies less to me than the fact of extorted obedience. " --- Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America (1835) To extrapolate from and riff on that last sentence: The nature of the tests and vaccines you are forced to take signifies less than the fact of extorted obedience. Imagine this: everybody is imprisoned (as they are now under house arrest in most places, completely restricted from freedom of movement) The only ways allowed by power to exit the prison are: 1) Take a vaccine with no liability, not knowing what it is or what it does, just on the say-so of some authority figure you're supposed to trust and respect and who is part of an elite who have already raped you, your family and all your ancestors multiple times. 2) If you're male, agree to be circumcized (what's the big deal? 70 to 90% of males already are). If you're female agree to have half of your clitoris removed (what's the big deal? It's just a reasonable preventative measure. You'll still have plenty of nerves there and feel things, just not half as much as your average nymphomaniac, which is desirable anyway, right? Why would you want to be addicted to sex because it feels so good anyway? And why should females get to have intact genitals and not males? How is that fair?) 3) Bend over and let a complete stranger stick a broomstick up your rear end. In and out once to the depth of about 10 inches. You can use lube if you want. One stroke and then you're free to go and do whatever you want. There might be occasional re-injections of the broomstick though to make sure you're an obedient and trustworthy person. 4) Bend over and let a complete stranger stick a tube up your rear end and give you a coffee enema (which is supposedly very healthy for you, Amandha Vollmer even says it's part of her daily routine). There might be occasional re-applications of the coffee enema, for your own health, of course, and just to make sure you're an obedient and trustworthy person. Which one would the so-called "truthers" take if there was no other way to participate in "modern society" and stay out of the woods and living a life of complete obscurity and restricted movements? Which one would be least scary and most agreeable? The last two roads to freedom involve only private humiliations, whereas the first two roads involve private humiliation plus a high possibility of physical injury and damage with no recourse to damages. And yet all 4 courses of action would be accepting the principle of extortion, agreeing to being extorted, being given a choice only in a controlled lesser of 'evils" situation or a choice of the least unwanted and unchosen and never the freely chosen, correct? Therefore, morally speaking, all four courses are just as reprehensible and are agreements to a contract with extortion. All 4 courses are paths to the corruption that keeps the "system" intact. Therefore, it matters not how you agree to extortion, as long as you agree to it, then the bad karma that all human beings who seek power by exploiting others are wary of coming back to themselves, is more or less neutralized. This, of course, is also why they never hide anything or hide things in plain sight: for people to see it and know about it and still agree to it, therefore reversing the laws of karma. In other words, if you beat somebody up for no reason, then you're a bad, violent person who has it coming to him. But if you beat somebody up in a boxing match that you both agreed to and got paid for, then the same amount of physical damage inflicted or even more is not seen as bad but only as "part of the game" agreed to. Macnamara
white lives matter? hmm nah not so much... How the British Government subjected thousands of people to chemical and biological warfare trials during Cold War Exclusive: Historians had previously thought that such operations were much less extensive David Keys@davidmkeys Thursday 09 July 2015 00:36 During the Cold War, the British Government used the general public as unwitting biological and chemical warfare guinea pigs on a much greater scale than previously thought, according to new historical research. In more than 750 secret operations, hundreds of thousands of ordinary Britons were subjected to ‘mock’ biological and chemical warfare attacks launched from aircraft, ships and road vehicles. Up until now historians had thought that such operations had been much less extensive. The new research, carried out by Ulf Schmidt, Professor of Modern History at the University of Kent, has revealed that British military aircraft dropped thousands of kilos of a chemical of ‘largely unknown toxic potential’ on British civilian populations in and around Salisbury in Wiltshire, Cardington in Bedfordshire and Norwich in Norfolk. Substantial quantities were also dispersed across parts of the English Channel and the North Sea. It’s not known the extent to which coastal towns in England and France were affected. The research reveals, for the first time, that around 4600 kilos of the chemical, zinc cadmium sulphide (now thought to be potentially carcinogenic, on account of its cadmium content) were dispersed from ships, aircraft and moving lorries between 1953 and 1964. Professor Schmidt’s investigation – published on 9 July as a book, Secret Science – has revealed that commuters on the London underground were also used as guinea pigs on a substantially larger scale than previously thought. The new research has discovered that a hitherto unknown biological warfare field trial was carried out in the capital’s tube system in May 1964. The secret operation – carried out by scientists from the government’s chemical and biological warfare research centre at Porton Down, Wiltshire - involved the release of large quantities of bacteria called Bacillus globigii. The scientists were keen to discover whether ‘long distance travel of aerosols’ in the tube network ‘was due to transportation within trains’ or through the tube’s air ventilation systems. At the time, the government thought that Bacillus globigii bacteria were harmless – but they are today regarded as a cause of food poisoning, eye infections, and even septicaemia. It is not known whether the authorities attempted to properly test the bacterium before releasing it into the tube system. An earlier series of tube field trials, in July 1963, has been known to historians for many years. However, the new research has now revealed that some of the British scientists involved had grave misgivings about the field trials that had been carried out. Indeed some had long felt that it was not politically advisable to conduct large-scale trials in Britain with live bacterial agents. One particular test – involving live plague bacteria – was carried out off the west coast of Scotland in 1952. It’s long been known that a fishing vessel inadvertently passed through the cloud of bacteria and that the authorities were very worried that the fishermen might contract the disease. The plague bacteria field trials, though at sea, took place only a few miles from the Isle of Lewis which had a population of several thousand. The government scientists, carrying out the trials, banked on the fact that the prevailing wind normally blew away from the coast. If, however, the wind had changed direction, thousands of Hebrideans would have been at risk from plague infection, says Professor Schmidt. Following the fishing vessel incident, the scientists were eager to carry out any further potentially very hazardous field trials outside the UK. Prime Minister Churchill therefore approved a plan to carry out tests in a British overseas territory, the Bahamas. New research shows that the government scientists took the view that the Bahamas was the best place “on the surface of the globe” to carry out tests “without restrictions”. In 1954, the British government sent Cold War biological warfare scientists to an area of sea near an uninhabited island in the Bahamas to release clouds of dangerous Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis viruses. These organisms were capable of causing, in humans, high fever, long term fatigue, headaches and occasionally death. The new research reveals, for the first time, that in another British imperial possession, Nigeria, a location was found for chemical warfare field trials. In an area called Obanaghoro in southern Nigeria, four British Cold War scientific missions spent a total of around 15 months dispersing, and assessing the effects of, large quantities of experimental nerve gas weapons. The advantage of the location was that it permitted field trials to be carried out in a tropical environment – and, of course, that it was not in Britain or Australia. The extent that local people (including locally employed field trial personnel) were affected by the nerve agents is not known. Historians have so far been unable to find out who did the particularly hazardous work of ‘hand-charging’ the nerve agent artillery shells, mortar bombs and aircraft cluster bombs. Likewise they have not been able to discover the extent to which local Nigerian soils were contaminated or whether nearby villages and schools were affected by any of the toxic clouds that would have been blown across the countryside. “The government records I’ve been looking at are conspicuously silent on all this,” said Ulf Schmidt. “Officials had clearly good reasons as to why the kind of experiments undertaken in Nigeria were strictly prohibited on the British mainland, which is why the files and photographic records surrounding Britain’s post-war nerve agent testing in Africa were regarded as particularly sensitive,” he said. Professor Schmidt’s research has also revealed the vast scale of Cold War chemical warfare tests carried out on ‘volunteer’ British service personnel here in the UK – involving numbers of people much greater than previously thought. His investigation now suggests that up to 30,000 secret chemical warfare substance experiments were carried out, mainly at Porton Down, on more than 14,000 British soldiers between 1945 and 1989. He believes that, in most cases, the servicemen were not given sufficient information to allow them to give properly informed consent. Ulf Schmidt’s book, Secret Science, is published today on 9 July, by Oxford University Press. Spreading diseases: ‘Harmless’ proxies Aircraft, lorries and ships spread 4,600kg of cadmium sulphide in one decade Zinc Cadmium Sulfide ultra-fine particles . This inorganic compound was used by Cold War scientists in the UK and the US as a supposedly harmless proxy to simulate the behaviour, in the lower atmosphere and on the ground, of biological warfare substances. However it is still not known whether particles of ZCS that may have become embedded in people’s lungs for decades could ultimately cause disease. Bacillus globigii. This bacterium was used as a supposedly harmless proxy to simulate the behaviour, in terms of dispersal and penetration, of biological warfare aerosols. Although not considered harmful when it was used in Cold War field trials, it is now known to be capable of causing fevers, food poisoning (occasionally resulting in death), peritonitis and septicaemia . Pasteurella pestis (now known as Yersina pestis). Clouds of this highly infections bacterium were dispersed only over areas of sea – but nevertheless very near to Lewis, a Scottish Island with thousands of inhabitants. In order not to infect the islands, it appears that the scientists relied entirely on the wind not changing direction and speed. This bacterium is the one that has caused plague epidemics worldwide in the past (including those of the medieval world’s Black Death). Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis. Clouds of this virus were dispersed over an area of sea close to an uninhabited island in the Bahamas. The virus debilitates or kills horses and donkeys and can also cause severe fever and even death in humans. Mosquitos spread the virus further by biting equines. G-series nerve agents. Clouds of this chemical warfare weapon were dispersed during field trials in a small part of southern Nigeria, some miles north of the town of Warri. G-series nerve agents were first developed by the Nazis before and during World War Two. The group includes substances like sarin and attacks the human nervous system, causing loss of bodily function and normally death. Survivors are likely to suffer long-term neurological damage and psychiatric disorders. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/how-british-government-subjected-thousands-people-chemical-and-biological-warfare-trials-during-cold-war-10376411.html
